Hi! I think being too corporate is actually a great great thing! I want to strive to be this way because people will take you more seriously and buy your stuff lol. I have noticed that if you are too casual or show too much of "yourself", there is no mystery and therefore people will NOT take your seriously and NOT buy anything from you. If you are corporate, there is some kind of mystery behind the person, and they are perceived as automatically someone that you need to buy from and you give them authority. I have noticed this among most KZbinrs and pretty much ALL industries that involve face to face selling.

Gillian I understand where you're coming from, but what I've seen works for me is being a needle mover. You either piss people off or say something else that moves them some kind of way in order to compel them to leave a comment. You don't have to be liked. Just don't be boring, basic, bland, generic, average or any other variation of the word. You're engaging, not boring and lets be honest, you're easy on the eyes. That helps for sure. Don't take that the wrong way please.

Can you tell if I'm easy on the eyes please? That word is a bit difficult for non native speaker like me

Subs know when you are just manipulating them into a response, it’s offensive when you realize you are being jerked around just for an emotional response that doesn’t even matter to anyone. Be authentic and you will be liked, it’s very simple.

Subsitute the word "interesting" with valuable. In places like high school you had to demonstrate some sort of value relative to the environment you were in to get people to notice you. That's why the basketball players and football players are usually the most popular. I can be a geek, but am I an alpha geek? Am I competing in competitions representing the school. Winning. Am I good enough to tutor kids to get high scores on tests so they can have a higher chance to get into the college they want to go to? Can I fix car problems. Am I funny? If so how or where do I demonstrate that? Do I have a way with words and women? Maybe I can show some of the guys how to be like me? See where I'm going with this. The cheerleaders were pretty usually, but they can also dance and were athletic. Most of them were usually gymnists or acrobats. Are you just entertaining overall as a person? Then you'd need to pick a time and place to showcase this. I just got your book too. I didn't even know you had a book.

Very helpful videos, thanks! I just subscribed. I will say though that the gigantic microphone is very distracting. You should use an overhead boom mic or a lapel. It is just huge, and I couldn’t stop noticing it. You’re gorgeous and people should be looking at you not that enormous mic 😅

Your videos lack graphical presentation, which would be better for beginners. Good video, though.

For me if you only pay attention to what people want and think about you, you are BETRAYING yourself. It means that You put others peoples opinion before yours. Jesus. Be yourself, your authentic self. The price of betraying your true self is so big to even imagine.

I used to watch you all of the time but honestly your videos lately have been horrible. You talk wayyyy too much with no real wisdom or knowledge included. Its like you're trying to get so many minutes in your video so you speak about random things for 9 minutes and one minute is info.
