TIP: If you're doing this on your real hair and want to minimize the amount of heat you're using, here's what I do. After removing flexi-rods, my hair is typically smoothed out into the curl pattern of the flexi-rods, but my roots still have my natural curl pattern. I just lightly pass a flat iron on the roots only. Make sure you stop and release the flat iron from your hair as soon as you get to the top of the first curl as you don't want to straighten out your flexi-rod curls. I only use the flat iron on the crown of my head and the edges that frame my face, since the roots beneath cannot be seen (unless you're wearing your hair in some sort of updo) and also help to give your hair some volume.

Hey I love your channel. I have just a quick tip for you when washing and combing out your wig. (Dont use a hair pic to comb the hair) Make sure you thoroughly condition the wig with conditioner all over, then take a small section and start combing the hair from the ENDS first and then work your up to the top. It'll save you lots of strands lol and time in the future. Love your channel keep up the great work!

This is way to long for a hair. You used lots of name brand products so maybe your getting a kick back? Anyway it is a good video regardless without all the talking & you girls who have no experience with. When you buy a Styrofoam head you buy T Pins to hold down the wig to the form. Easy to do. Yes you can wrap with wet REAL hair & sleep on it. Buy a large satin bonnet if you dont have one. Try NOT to put heat on your hair as damaging. AIr dry in daytime if possible. When washing your hair put mayonnaise on the ends to prevent breakage, leave few minutes than apply a CO WASH. all over wash well & massage scalp. Rinse well & style.. Peace & Love. PS. Let the girl be herself I'm sure she gets told she looks like Braxtons, it don't even matter. This girl is herself & shes ENOUGH in her truth.. Let it be..

Love this tutorial! The wig looks good, looks like your natural hair. I like how the flexi rods kind of give the results of a good twist out, I love doing twist outs and curls on my blow dried or semi-flat ironed hair. I love that full loosely wavy look! I've been using satin rollers, which I just did a video on, to get nice big curls overnight when I'm too lazy to spend time twisting! The story about the fire was really interesting!

I use these, I have all three sizes so I put the larger ones in the back of my hair, then medium (middle section) smallest in the front! They're a little bit more difficult to use than in the video if you have to sleep with them in. Especially if you move a lot, it's sort of uncomfortable having to sleep on your tummy too. So I like to put Bobby pins in just in case. (:
