You don't have to go to the Strident Squall. Literally just dive under the pier bridge where you first arrive and there is a EEC lockbox so you could have done this at level 1 with no combat if you wanted.

For those of us who don't like using glitches here is a step by step alternative. This method may not grant you the 1 million in one hour unless you really hustle, but it will give you more than enough gold for anything you may ever need and if you run out you can simply go back and harvest your ingredients every 3 days. Step 1: Collect 20 mora tapinella, 12 creep cluster, and 12 scaley phiolia Step 2: Get access to the farm near rorikstead Step 3: Farm till you have ample ingredients ~400 Step 4: Return viola's ring in windhelm Step 5: Get speech training for the merchant perk while leveling alchemy Step 6: Sell thousands of potions to every available merchant in skyrim

Actually a pretty smart way to sidestep the issue of npcs having limited gold. I do wish there was a way to do this without abusing duplication. But I can't really think of any. The few instances of selling non-limited items through dialogue give really pitiful amounts of money.

It's one thing to find a way to exploit the game within its own intended rules, but quite another, in my opinion, to exploit it by using a bug like the duplication glitch. One strikes me as clever, hence enjoyable and feeling earned, as it's figuring out how the rules of game interact in a way that you can take advantage of... but the other strikes me as just "cheating." For example, I've no problem exploiting the alchemy-enchantment loop to overpower enchantments, but if I wanted to cheat to give myself a million gold, I'd do it in under 30 seconds by using the console, since to me that's no different from exploiting the duplication glitch to make all that gold, except for being a helluva lot faster. Of course, that's just me. One of the nice things about an open-ended (and often broken game) like Skyrim is that we're each free to toy with it as we each prefer.

Yeah, that’s a good way to make money on Skyrim way more better than the underneath sky Forge glitch I mean, you can’t sell stolen items unless you have certain parks unlocked under speech or join the thieves guild There’s a newer way to actually make money though the farm you get from the creation club honestly it’s a pretty legit way to make money and it doesn’t evolve any glitches either

I did a similar thing like this but with my mom's jewelry, and in my front hallway. I didn't have the patience to get them to 2000, so i settled with 1000 instead. (Also, does anyone know why the guard next to the spot keeps framing me for stealing? It's very offensive! I'm simply just borrowing stuff without asking, or giving it back.)

you first you need enough xp to get acces to ravnerock and solstheim btw i know a far better way to get one of those pendents withour risking death but tbh why do you need so much gold its not like you ever run out of money in ksyrim anyway if you just play it normaly even if you buy and furnish every single house in the game

The ship ride isn't level locked afaik. In one of my playthroughs I went to Solstheim at level 2 because I wanted Companion's Insight. As a bonus, the ship captain doesn't rip you off for the ride before the Dragonborn questline starts.
