Thank you Tony, working really hard to become a professional sportbettor for years now. But it doesnt seem to work still because i sabotage myself when i win.. any tips to get rid of that?

Thanks - Normally speaking, winning should be a confidence booster and proof of concept. It's when the penny drops and you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. It begs the question of what goes wrong? Do you start chasing losses on a downswing, or get greedy and bet out of sync? Is it your environment (such as betting shops), or are you staking wrongly? If you think about it, many businesses go bust because they fail to adapt. On a positive note, you are putting your hands up and accepting something is wrong - Chances are you know the answer yourself. Just see betting as a job (no emotion), and you want to be paid for your work!! Money is your tool, and you need to become cold-blooded with its use! Ask yourself, what's the difference between losing 500 and winning 500? The answer is 1000! Make it painful to lose by facing realities!

Thanks, as always, Tony. £20,000 p/m? Wow, the softs are so quick to gub accounts these days, even old accounts. That's illegal in Spain, as I'm sure you're aware. Pity our politicians don't serve our interests these days, otherwise we could have same here.

Thanks Martin! For better or worse, Spain is a bit different! Residents are subject to tax on winnings over 7.5K (or at least it was when I last looked). In the shops, you always had to ID yourself, saying that you have to show ID in normal shops when paying for groceries by card! Yes the UK is becoming increasingly difficult, with only a handful of bookmakers worth bothering with! On the flip side, anyone can get a 2% Betfair account (didn't used to be the case), you can still do a bit of ducking & diving in shops, and there is enough people looking for a bit of spending money :-)

@@BettingAnalyst Was walking through Madrid and entering some shops where they say I can play only showing ID and not necessary to create an account on the bookies. Is it possible to avoid being limited on the shops if you consistently value bet? Im curious about this.

@@jadbiz - I had the same in Madrid - but that's Spain. I lived in Marbella and still have property down there. I just got used to showing my passport for everything, especially when paying by card! If the shops clock you - they will soon stop your betting. While you can duck and dive in high-staking shops (City of London - bankers), it's becoming a bigger test!

Hi Tony. I was just wondering....Ive noticed that the price for over the goal line. i.e say the game is 1-1 and over 2.5 is 3 on 365 and 2.64 on BF exchange is this worth taking. Im specifically meaning in play late in football matches

You are saying it's 2.64 (Bet) on Betfair and 3.00 on Bet365? If it's a liquid market and the ''lay odds'' are near the ''bet'' odds - you have a bet!

I'll add it to my list. If using the compounded interest method to grow, consider your numbers (amount of bets). Also, focus on staking with the expected value (EV). For example (and its only an example). If value betting at 3% (minimum requirement) bet 0.8% of your bank. If the EV is 10% then raise the stake to 1.5%. It's a better way to leverage opportunity!
