Is buying non-functioning watches, repairing and then selling them, something worthwhile to explore or not? What do you think?

PJ, I hold a Phd in business/economics and there isn't ANYONE in University who ACTUALLY, PRACTICALLY, TEACHES you how to make money like you do. There are a LOT of theories taught about, say, the stock market but, like Warren Buffett, you actually SHOW how to do it in watches. THANK YOU!

Chrono24 isn’t accurate listing price?

Nope, filled with bullshit listings and inaccurate pricing on both ends of the spectrum

What Jewelers pay real market prices? The best ones pay 20 to 30 percent less than market value.

Hoping the info and trainings in WTA will help move the needle on my income

Fully right about the parking money concept, but again you just go to the facts based on the last 5 years or so in which probably people can make a living from it, starting today I really doubt that, I saw you whole training video and honestly full of interesting concepts but no business there at least not for making a living, most of the brands which give margin are impossible to buy at retail and market prices as you comment are insane, everybody owning those pieces know by now what they have in their hands. Still nice concepts

Plenty of people making a living watch trading the way PJ taught them. I just left my engineering job to do it full time 🤷🏾♂️. Buying a Rolex at MSRP is a tiny, tiny piece of the business model

There are literally dozens of people who legit make a solid 6-figure living trading watches who are members of WTA. Many of whom started in the last 18 months.

Thank you PJ, for sharing your skills and knowledge. Hope to follow in your footsteps. My one concern is do you think the watch market will just continue? Even with a looming recession and possible economic collapse in the near future?
@WatchTradingAcademy2 жыл бұрын
Yes, and the watch market will get stronger

Does your theory (where you say about 52k for a Patek) work if I buy, let's say, a Rolex at a current market price of 13.5k, for instance? Not at MSRP of 9k.

It's lower than I recommend but not far off. $1500 or even $1k would give you a lot more flexibility

PJ did well and is obviously a smart guy and entrepreneur. But he has become much more rich by charging the people who don’t have enough common sense to do it themselves.(kinda like coaches students ) why pay someone to gain free knowledge. All it takes is some motivation. Even coach falls for these how to salesman’s books, and audio books. Not saying all these people are bad or that people who haven’t done this is stupid but this formula is common sense imo. But I like Pej he does this with more class than coach.

Just to be 100% transparent, I've made 5-10X more per year offline than online since 2016 when this platform launched. No one is being forced to learn from me, those who want the shortcuts can pay for them. Those who don't can certainly still succeed in the watch market without paying me. Their education period will just take longer.
