For me the best rolex is the cellini prince 5441/9 ... Speaking recently with a great collector he told me that the little appreciated 2005 prince collection will be the strong point of future investment for rolex ... The prince has a good caliber 7040 manual and is the first the only one in the history of Rolex with a visible case back

@@foxiedogitchypaws7141 Firstly, I hope they and yourself are staying safe. The German watch making industry, much like the Japanese watch making industry; is not necessarily an Investment market. If you're someone who is looking to buy a watch that will hold its value, the chances are very low that you'll find one of a German or Japanese make. Having said that, as you may know, the German watch manufacturing industry is known for its wonderful display of movements. The 3-Quarter Plate is a sight to behold. Depending on your budget, and how complicated of a watch you're looking to get; I may be able to offer some suggestions. Junghans is a budget-brand, I personally enjoy their watches; however their movements are nothing special - they're most famously known for their Bauhaus style of watch making and pay tribute to Max-Bill (Swiss Born Architect, Influence in the Bauhaus movement of Architecture). A decent Junghans will set you back anywhere between $700-$2,000 USD. Then we meet the upcoming brand that has been making waves within the watch collector community due to its simplistic designs, and cost-effective "modern" watches - Nomos. Nomos is a quality brand, they do make in house movements; and as of late their Tangente and Club line have been quite popular amongst younger enthusiasts. I, myself, own a Nomos Metro; it's simple, beautiful, easy to read, and looks just as gorgeous in the dark. A quality Nomos will set you back anywhere between $4,500 to $12,000 (in-house, top of the line). The grail now rests between Glashütte Original and A. Lange & Söhne, not so surprisingly, once upon a time both brands used to operate as one - but due to the war, Lange found itself rebranding. In terms of Customer Support, Quality Control, Boutique Experience the A. Lange & Söhne team has yet to disappoint. I first visited their boutique in Dubai, I was not dressed as someone who could even afford their Entry-Level Saxonia (Priced at $12,000-$15,000); yet they were very kind, respectful, and were very happy to have me try their watches - despite me making it very clear that I could not afford one. Indeed, the same experience was found in their London Boutique, and that's when I finally decided to purchase my first and only Lange; the 1815. To me, that watch is beautiful; it doesn't scream "wealth", much like a Grand Seiko - it's a pride and joy for the owner to experience. Not a day goes by that I don't glance at the case back, and be blown away at the intricacies of the hand-engraved pieces that form the movement. Definitely a recommendation I would make, if one lives within the vicinity. They do offer Factory tours, and I would recommend they are a must for any watch enthusiast. Kind Regards.
