Mountain Dew in a jar with a hole in the lid they cant climb back out of. Works on Carpenter Bees and Wasps. Most species of Honey Bees will ignore it safely.

They died easily. I used to hit them with a tennis racket and they would just fall apart

I used WD40 kills on contact, spray in each each hole, next day use calking fill each hole, this generation bees history,

And this is why you get pressure treated lumber and not the cheap untreated especially for structural support. My work place is learning this one hole at a time

Yeah sure let's find hundreds of bees from inside wood and somehow fit the hand in and take each bee individually without breaking the wood and put them in jars, I'd rather not do that, would be way worse than just using the insecticide.
