Go to a nursery and tell them you need an insecticide for your tomato plants. They may have something in a locked case that can kill chinch bugs. I just did a 1st treatment this morning. We'll see if it works.

Isn't the main ingredient in Reclaim IT bifinthrin? If so why would you want to apply Bifin IT and Reclaim IT when they both have the same Active ingredient?

These bugs were all over the siding of our house tonite ~ millions of them. Finally found out they are Chinch bugs from researching ~ what would attract them to the house ? The lawn damage we have we thought was from the dog ! Guess we will be busy !

@bluesyjazzy-ish3489i have my class A,C,E,I,L ...it can work that way, but it doesn't due to the violence of the air flow and stationary and moving metal..it's be like throwing a baby into a tornado..chances of it living are slim might we as well be none. same with the tires, the side walls it's possible, but also another factor is the immediate next lawn has to have the same living conditions. insects are a plague like mover, the wind carries them like dandelions, cottonwood, cat tails but with out the right living conditions they don't live long or propagate well ie. cat tails will only grow WELL in swampy wetland, dandelions the reverse, cottonwoods like sand over clay soil....these all will grow other places, but they won't become millions at a time. other wise you'd have japanese grub beatles eating your lawn roots just because some one else had lawn service in the neighborhood...soil conditions and plant types and wind and temperatures and humidity levels play huge roles in insects life cycles

nature also has a control for it, usually a predator bug or avian or weather cycle. a good late frost at the beginning of summer ends alot of skeeters and grass hoppers, a dry drought summer has the same affect on aquatic bugs larvae, attracting the right bird types with free homes and stable food supply when there aren't bugs, there's also a microbial war and plant war you can use
