The incline board reminds me a lot of knees over toes exercises. Interesting!

Hello! Love your channel. Could you please make a video about shin splints? I've seen you talk about it in your online course, but, as an undergraduate student in Brazil, €180 is not accessible for me right now. Anyway, thank you for the great content!

Stop running and do crosstraining. Strengthening the muscles of your calves, ankles and the shins will help preventing from getting it again. Walking, especially hill walking helps. Although if it hurts reduce load or do something less stressful. Besides that massaging the shin muscles, especially at the place of injury. And stretching the muscles. That helped me get rid of it.

When I started running about a year ago, i suffered jumper's knee even when I just run on flat roads. I tried strengthening exercises and stretching exercises and I'm now okay on flat roads. My problem is when going downhill, that's where my knee hurts after 4-5 km. What could I do to get rid of my weakness in downhill running?

Downhill probably puts similar "breaking forces" into the knee, as an over stride would do (I guess). I had the same problem when increasing my long runs (trail/hilly ones). On downhills, my knee would hurt. Thou the symptoms just stopped over time. Probably I had increased the distance too fast.

Contact him about what? Out of curiosity.

He's a busy professional coach. Your vague requests are asking HIM to chase YOU as a client, and will take him away from the clients paying for his attention- for something he could probably answer quickly in the comments. I'm not trying to be rude, just point out that you're putting an unfair and unjustified demand on a professional. Either contact him via his official email/ website, or simply post your question in comments so that he can give you a quick (and free) answer. Threatening to unsubscribe if he doesn't give you his attention for free is NOT how to get someone's help. Best wishes.

@@Kelly_Ben how would you change your post if you were to find out that I have already tried each of the approaches that you have suggested and still no response?
@eightch19806 ай бұрын
@@Kelly_Ben As I think more about what you’ve said here it has become very clear that this is not a “professional” that I want to CHASE any longer. I should mention that I have received responses from other professionals with far more subscribers and in far less time. I should mention that I still have yet to hear from anyone other than you and that took 3 months. I am also busy and I can assure you that my time is very valuable. I’ve wasted enough time already even trying to reach out and still nothing. If it’s money he is after as a “professional” he certainly will not be getting any of mine. Good day.
