Hi Peta, I am on week 5 of series 1, and I already see so much difference in my face. I look less tired and more relaxed, my nasolabial folds are almost gone and my forehead seems more relaxed. Hi Cajun I am a gym member, I have been with Peta for over 2 years, Peta has a program, it is a full face routine, we do the exercises as Peta tells us, in the series, we must follow this program as Peta tells us to get the best results, there are no short routines or favourites, we must do a full face routine as described in the program....here is the program The program is a full face routine, we do not do just one exercise for a specific area of our face, we must follow the full face routine. We start with series 1 we start with 50 reps of each exercise in series 1 we do the exercises at the same time of day for 5 days, then on the 6th day we do the power lift and the massage, on the 7th day we rest. We do 50 reps in the above format for 2 weeks, then we do 100 reps for 2 weeks then we do 150 reps for 2 weeks. The series takes 6 weeks to complete. Then we take a week off, during this week we learn the exercises for series 2, trying to learn an exercise a day, looking in the mirror and listening to what Peta is telling us to do. After the week off we start series 2 with 50 reps for 2 weeks as per above format. We start with series 1 and work through to series 6, then we start all over again with series 1. Hi Misha, its a little hard to say because I am not there with you seeing what you are doing. However, can I suggest that you do it with less muscle effort, often times people think the harder the push the faster the results. And, unfortunately with our face this is not the case. Also, are you doing just this exercise or are you following the full routine? Let me know.

Is it possible that only one side of the face muscles moves easier? And it seems to be much more difficult to do on the other side?

Hi Fardin, I am a gym member I have been with Peta for over two years, we all have areas on the face which are concerning us, if we follow Peta's program we can achieve wonderful results, we must do the program just as Peta tells us, here is the program The program is a full face routine, we do not do just one exercise for a specific area of our face, we must follow the full face routine. We start with series 1 we start with 50 reps of each exercise in series 1 we do the exercises at the same time of day for 5 days, then on the 6th day we do the a massage, on the 7th day we rest. We do 50 reps in the above format for 2 weeks, then we do 100 reps for 2 weeks then we do 150 reps for 2 weeks. The series takes 6 weeks to complete. Then we take a week off, during this week we learn the exercises for series 2, trying to learn an exercise a day, looking in the mirror and listening to what Peta is telling us to do in the videos. After the week off we start series 2 with 50 reps for 2 weeks as per above format. We start with series 1 and work through to series 6, then we start all over again with series 1. Series 1-3 are on the public channel and series 4-6 are in the membership site. We do the exercises lying down. Peta also has a beautiful skin care range, which can be found on her internet website under renew me. We also do face yoga, this gives us extra lift, we do it 12 hours from when we do the exercises. Hi Ossy, you leave your fingers there for gentle resistance and then move the muscles up and down. Possibly watch the video all the way through as I explain it later into the video.

Hi Peta, when I do the exercise my nose moves more to one side, because my nose is slightly to the side. It does not look straight when I do it, so I press harder on the side that it's bent, so I hope I am correcting it right. Thanks for this exercise!

you are only doing 2 exercises. you need to do a full face routine otherwise you will get more wrinkles like you are experiencing. If you cant do a full routine, just dont do the exercises

A couple of questions: What should my mouth be doing as I start pushing those muscles down? Should I just put my lips together? Tighten them up and make a wide grin? Or just relax them? Is it OK if my cheeks start moving up as I do the exercise? Will my nose change too? Sorry for asking so many questions but I'm really worried how my skin looks so saggy fo my age :(

Hi Amor, glad to see you back. Unfortunately when you lose alot of weight and have loose skin, it does become a problem. Facial exercise will only fix sagging skin when there is a certain amount of it. The theory is, as you exercise the muscles on the face, the skin (like the body) stretches over the muscles as the grow giving a wrinkle free appearance. When there is excess skin, it doesnt work because the muscles on the face will only grow so far. Even tho they strengthen and tone normally as you exercise them, excess sagging skin will not stretch over them. The skin only has so much elastic and then once its stretched beyond its capacity, it is impossible to make it taut again. This is the same for the body. I would advise just keep doing what you are doing, keep exercising, as the facial muscles will still be healthy no matter what your skin is doing.

you cant change the natural shape of your face with facial exercises. instead as you exercise the muscles they tone to the shape of your face.
