In this video, we will be discussing a natural milia removal treatment using castor oil, exfoliation, and AHA. Milia are small, white bumps that can appear on your skin, particularly around your eyes, nose, and cheeks. They are caused by the buildup of keratin excess and dead skin cells combined with oil in your pores. The shell like casing is a protein dense cyst that needs a specialized milia cyst blasting protocol. Today I will share 3 natural ways to treat milia white bumps at home.
Milia, also known as "milk spots," are small, white or yellowish bumps that typically appear on the face, particularly around the eyes, nose, and cheeks. They are common in people of all ages, including infants and adults.
Milia are caused by the buildup of dead skin cells and oil in the pores of the skin. Unlike acne, milia are not caused by bacteria or inflammation. They are generally harmless and painless, but can be cosmetically bothersome to some individuals Fortunately, there are several natural remedies that can be used to remove milia at home.
Milia can be categorized into two types: primary and secondary. Primary milia are typically seen in infants and are caused by skin cells that have not fully developed. Secondary milia, on the other hand, are more commonly seen in adults and can be caused by a variety of factors, such as skin trauma, certain medications, and long-term use of heavy cosmetics.
3 Natural Remedy for Milia Removal at home:
1. Castor oil for Milia Removal amzn.to/3GNq8cA
Castor oil is a natural oil that can penetrate deep into the skin, helping to dissolve the buildup of dead skin cells and oil that contribute to milia. To use castor oil for milia removal, simply apply a small amount of the oil to the affected area and massage gently for several minutes. This can be done daily until the milia disappear.
Castor oil is a natural oil that has been used for centuries for its healing properties. It is a great natural remedy for milia because it can work on breaking down the dense protein shell of this skin cyst.
2. Gentle Plant Based Exfoliation Daily: shrsl.com/410ox
Exfoliation is another effective natural remedy for milia. By gently removing dead skin cells, exfoliation can help to unclog pores and prevent the formation of milia. To exfoliate the skin, a gentle scrub can be made by mixing sugar or baking soda with a small amount of water or honey. This should be applied to the affected area and massaged gently for several minutes before rinsing off with warm water. This can be done once or twice a week.
Exfoliation is also an important step in milia removal because it helps to work at breaking down the milia cyst layer that the castor oil is actively working on dissolving. Today I share natural plant based gentle exfoliating scrub that is suitable for sensitive skin.
2. Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) for Milia Treatment. shrsl.com/410oy
Alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs) are also effective for treating milia at home. AHAs work by exfoliating the skin and promoting cell turnover. They can be found in a variety of skincare products, including creams and serums. To use an AHA for milia removal, simply apply a small amount of the product to the affected area and massage gently. This can be done once a day.
AHAs are a group of acids that are commonly used in skincare products to exfoliate and improve skin texture.
In this video, we will walk you through the steps of this natural milia removal treatment using castor oil, exfoliation, and AHA. By the end of this video, you will have all the information you need to try this treatment for yourself and achieve smoother, clearer milia free skin.
The products I recommend in this video:
1. Castor Oil for Milia amzn.to/3GNq8cA
2. Exfoliating Facial Cleansing Scrub for Milium: shrsl.com/410ox
3. AHA Toner for Nightime treatment of milia: shrsl.com/410oy

I feel that it’s important to recognize that the castor oil should be organic and in a dark colored glass bottle. Light can destroy its properties and the properties can also breakdown the plastic in bottle. Store in a dark cool place as well. God gives us many healing resources, the biggest is His Son.

Thank you for sharing these important tips, Michelle! You're absolutely right about the importance of using organic castor oil stored in a dark glass bottle to preserve its properties. It's crucial to protect it from light and store it in a cool place to maintain its effectiveness. And you're spot on about the ultimate healing resource being faith. Appreciate your insights!

Hi, Greetings! Your castor oil tip worked for me!!! I am so happy. Now I remember, my grandmother used to treat us with this castor oil, we grew up without any infections with clean and clear skin. But certain inevitable changes in my lifestyle and the latest skincare products started giving me milia and acne. I am slowly remembering those age old tips from my grandma...turmeric, castor oil, coconut oil, the fresh cream that she used to make from cow's milk, all those inadvertently helped a lot. Anyways, thank you so much 😊

I'm thrilled to hear that the castor oil tip resonated with you and brought back fond memories of your grandmother's wisdom! It's amazing how traditional remedies can hold such powerful benefits. Going back to natural ingredients and practices often proves to be beneficial for many, just as you've experienced. Embracing those age-old tips can indeed make a significant difference. Thank you for sharing your journey, and here's to more clean and clear skin days ahead! 😊🌿

The fact that grandmothers have been effectively using castor oil through the ages, says a lot about how little importance all the “organic”, “dark brown glass bottle” really matters. I buy very cheap castor oil from Amazon, in a big clear plastic bottle. It works great.

Wow, this is great. I finally discovered the dermatologist at my late age. I have Milia removed at no cost to me because of my great insurance. However, I would like to do it at home and pass this to my friends that do not have the insurance I have. A lot of dermatologists tell my friends, "Oh don't worry about them. They will just come right back." No kidding? We don't like them no matter the age. Ugh. An Air Force Colonel doctor at a medical hospital told me one time, "Oh don't worry about it" you don't need to be referred to a dermatologist it's nothing. Well, after about 10 years when I started to go off base to civilian doctors and finally got a referral to a dermatologist. I had cancer! Yes, it was a spot on my leg, and it was getting larger and spreading. Thank goodness it was not malignant but non the less it was, something. Of course, that Air Force doctor was long gone. Thank you for telling us they are something and how to get rid of the unsightly little buggers. I can't wait to help my friends and family. I will tell them about your KZbin.

You're welcome! In regards to skincare, there are a few ingredients that people with sensitive skin may want to avoid, such as fragrances, alcohol, and harsh exfoliants. As for the choice between complex c serum and aha serum, it really depends on your specific skincare needs and concerns. Both can have benefits for the skin, but they work in different ways. Hyaluronic acid is a great ingredient for keeping the skin hydrated and plump. Witch hazel can be a good toner for some people.

So glad to have this tip in my arsenal. Growing up, my mom had a friend who bad millia all over her face and eyelids. She was a pretty lady otherwise. I was always so afraid that i would get them as i got older. So far i haven't, but at least i know how to defeat them. Now i just need to learn how to get rid of the flesh colored bumps coming up on my jaw line.

Hey @lizzyjeanne, I'm glad you found the tip helpful! Milia can be a bother, but it's great to know there are ways to tackle them. As for the flesh-colored bumps on your jawline, they might be something called closed comedones or even ingrown hairs. Using gentle exfoliation and keeping your skin clean can often help with those. Wishing you all the best!

I think she’s referring to the dark slightly raised rough spots that drs call age spots. Amlacton lotion helps but if you stop using it they come back. Drs sometimes freeze them off, but again, they return. I’ll be trying this for millia that are coming up & the age spots! ( I don’t mind getting old, but I do mind the dark spots!)

@@bonnieabrs1003 no actually I just mean the flesh colored bumps on my skin that have nothing in them (they look like pimples when they first come up but they never come to a head) and they just stay there forever. They are like moles but very small (1.5-2mm diameter) and never go away. Maybe they are moles with no pigment. I hate them. I have a few of them already. I dread getting more.

I use a c-pap and have milia on the sides of my nose from the nose piece so I can’t wait to try your suggestions and clear them up. Question - I have some thick whiskers on my chin that emerge from a white bump. I’m a 74 year old woman. The hairs are very tough to pluck. I don’t know if the bumps are milia, what are your thoughts? I’ll try your milia treatment and see if they go away but would love any other ideas that you may have. I didn't know what those bumps are. I did use a needle to break one open & it bled. I decided they weren't white heads. I wash, tone & moisturize twice daily, so it seemed I was doing my best. I had them below my eyes along the bone, and a couple other larger ones by the crease of my nose by the nostril. I will buy the exfoliating scrub and use the 3 things you suggest. Thanks so much for saving me the expense of a dermatologist; I don't think my insurance would cover it, and I really can't afford to pay it out of pocket. I already pay a lot for medical coverage. Looking forward to doing this routine. Thank you.

You're welcome! I'm glad you found the information helpful. Castor oil can be beneficial for various skin issues, including eyelid cysts and skin tags. When applying castor oil to your eyelids or face, make sure to use a clean cotton swab or a small brush to avoid contamination. Apply a small amount of castor oil to the affected areas and gently massage it in. Remember to perform a patch test before applying it to larger areas and discontinue use if you experience any adverse reaction

Oh Thank you, I've been saying for months and months, I need to get on YT and find someone who has a natural remedy for Milia. I have been having a number of these pop up on my forehead for awhile. I knew what they were, but being an anxious picker, I don't even realise I'm scratching at my face. I never had a pimple as a kid, not one squishy pimple that every kid want's to pop, but I've noticed my forehead is really oily in comparison to my pretty dry face and dreadfully dry arms & legs. I've also notice that I have quite enlarged pores in-between what's left of my eyebrows. I'm having issues with thinning hair and think because I constantly try and move it about to look thicker I'm constantly touching my face. So off to find Castor Oil. Thanks for the tips.

look for an organic, cold pressed castor oil in an amber glass bottle. That's the only type you should use. The amber glass prevents light and BPAs from plastic from destroying the strength and purity of the oil. It will also help with hair re-growth on your scalp and brows/lashes if applied at night regularly. Stay hydrated! Pure, alkaline water to help with the dry body skin and everything else.

Interesting info! Is there any easy way to tell if the micro beads in an exfoliating product are not micro plastics? Thanks
@NaturalHealthResources
@NaturalHealthResources 3 ай бұрын
Absolutely! One way to identify if the microbeads in an exfoliating product are not microplastics is to check the ingredient list. Look for natural ingredients like jojoba beads, apricot kernel powder, or bamboo extract, which are eco-friendly alternatives to plastic microbeads. Additionally, products labeled as "biodegradable" or "environmentally friendly" are more likely to use non-plastic microbeads. Always read labels and do a quick search to ensure you're making an environmentally conscious choice. Hope this helps!

Cleared my cheek immediately, and one between my lip and left nostril in a few days. The one on my eye brow bone is in an awkward place and remains. I plan another treatment this week. Generally speaking, the only way to get rid of those is to pop them out since they are so hard and can’t be removed by exfoliating, since they are too deep under the skin . It takes the dermo five seconds to get them out, but I would think you could make a tiny hole in the side and pop them out yourself.I had one under my eye and didn’t feel as comfortable making an incision there as would,if it were say, just on my cheek.
@NaturalHealthResources

Thank you for sharing your experience! It can definitely be tricky dealing with stubborn milia. Popping them out with a dermatologist's help is often the most effective way, especially for those deeper ones. If you're considering popping them yourself, it's important to be cautious, especially around sensitive areas like the eyes. Making a tiny hole on the side sounds like a safer approach. Always prioritize your safety and comfort when dealing with skincare concerns. If in doubt, consulting a dermatologist is a good idea. Take care!

So, Milia is basically the same as Keratosis Pilarus? I get that around my temples. I have to also wonder if getting hairspray on the skin contributes to developing that? I have been using Eucerin UREA Repair, 5% Urea on those areas, but haven’t been consistent with it. That was recommended by Dermatologist, Dr Dray on her channel. I got it from ebay as it’s European only. They don’t sell it here in the USA. I’ll turn 60 this Summer.
@NaturalHealthResources
@NaturalHealthResources Жыл бұрын
No, milia and keratosis pilaris are not the same thing, although they can look similar. Milia are small, white or yellow bumps that occur when dead skin cells get trapped in the skin's surface. Keratosis pilaris, on the other hand, is a condition that causes small, rough bumps on the skin, usually on the arms, thighs, and buttocks. It's not clear if getting hairspray on the skin can contribute to developing either of these conditions, but it's always a good idea to avoid getting hair products on your skin whenever possible. It's great that you're using the Eucerin UREA Repair cream as recommended by Dr. Dray. Consistency is key when it comes to treating skin conditions, so try to use the cream regularly for the best results.

Sure! Here’s a step-by-step guide for treating milia naturally: 1. **Cleanse**: Start with a gentle cleanser to wash your face. 2. **Steam**: Use steam to open up your pores. You can do this by leaning over a bowl of hot water with a towel over your head for about 5-10 minutes. 3. **Exfoliate**: Gently exfoliate your skin with a mild exfoliator or a homemade scrub (like sugar and honey) to remove dead skin cells. 4. **Apply Treatment**: Use natural treatments like tea tree oil, rose water, or aloe vera gel. Apply them directly to the milia. 5. **Moisturize**: Finish with a non-comedogenic moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated. Repeat this regimen a few times a week. Be patient and consistent, and you should see improvement over time. Good luck!

Sure thing! For a gentle and purposeful face wash, look for ones that contain ingredients like aloe vera, chamomile, or green tea, which are great for soothing the skin. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser: It's very gentle and hydrating.

I had to eliminate castor seed oil from all of my lipcolor and lip care products. I have eczema and all if a sudden it was making my lips peel. And I mean the entire surface of my lips, every day. I'm going to patch test the castor oil before applying to my problematic milia. I really hope that I won't react to it. 🤞🏻

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with castor seed oil causing issues with your lips. Patch testing before applying it to your milia sounds like a smart idea. Hopefully, it will work well for you without any adverse reactions. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome! 🤞🏻

Can you recommend a toner and face scrub that are not so expensive? Tight budget here. Thank you.

I have had them for years. I usually prick the larger ones with a fine needle to extract them. But that doesn't always work. I am going to give your methods a try. Can you just use the castor oil, or do you need to use all three

You can definitely start with just castor oil if you'd like. It's known for its therapeutic properties, but combining it with other natural remedies like hot compresses or essential oils can enhance its effectiveness. Feel free to experiment and see what works best for you. Best of luck!

Thank you for the castor oil tip! I notice milia buildup on my cheeks when I use moisturizer -Olay retinol and regenerist -on a regular basis. I’m assuming I need a “lighter” moisturizer or serum for my combination skin type but I have no idea which to use. Do you have any suggestions on what moisturizers I should use or ingredients to look for when I buy my next moisturizer? 😊

Thank you for your comment! For combination skin, you may want to consider using a lightweight, oil-free moisturizer that won't clog your pores. Look for ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycerin, and ceramides, which are hydrating without being heavy.

I have wondered about these for a long time. Will these products be ok old old skin(I’m 70). The castor oil seems ok, but I’m wondering about the other two.

Absolutely! Age doesn't limit the benefits of these products. Castor oil is generally gentle and can be beneficial for aging skin. As for the other two, it's always a good idea to do a patch test to ensure they agree with your skin. But generally, they're safe for all ages. It's great that you're exploring options to take care of your skin at 70!
