How to GET RIGHT WITH GOD

Hey!!!! I hope this video provided more clarity on the christian saying get right with the Lord. Sin separates us for God, The Lord sent Jesus here to ultimately be the perfect and final sacrifice for our sin. Through Christ, we as believers are now justified with God. Jesus might us RIGHT(EOUS) with God. After justification comes sanctification, meaning we are continually made holy as we (with the Spirit of God is us) work to become Christ-like. This is NOT EASY and you will fall because we are not perfect. We will not be completely free from sin until we die or Jesus comes back. However, becoming a Christian results in a changed life 2 Corinthians 5:17
A person will go from producing the acts of the flesh (Galatians 5:19-21) to displaying the fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), as the indwelling Holy Spirit has more and more control over his or her life.
A true believer seeks to stay away from sin rather than welcome it or position themselves to be tempted by it.
When a believer messes up s/he regrets it, confesses it, wishes to never do it again and seeks to appropriate God’s power and grace to avoid it, knowing that Christ already defeated all sins.

My biggest problem I'm having rn is that I can't seem to focus. I try and try to pray and worship and it's like my brain doesn't want to concentrate or anything. I can't feel his presence. I feel as though I'm doing something wrong.

AngieOnigiri hey that's normal our flesh does not desire what our spirit needs. We have to train our flesh and bring it under submission. I recently made a video called delight in the lord where I touch on this. But basically you have to push past your flesh and dig into your word. Also properly digging into the word and learning it in the context. A good book is women of the word by Jen wilkin to learn how to properly study

see this is really hard for me...i really want to be closer to the lord and Jesus, and i know they love me...i feel that they love me, but at the same time i don't know exactly how to get closer to them...i don't even know how to pray, every time i do, it doesn't feel like i'm actually praying....i just feel like there is a part of me that really wants to and there is the dark side of me saying "no do that later, go watch tv" and it makes me feel horrible...

Hi Chelsey! I really like your ministry. You helped lead me out of lukewarmeness and back into having a fire for JAH. I just found your ministry about 2 months ago randomly. Thank you SO much for what you are doing! As far as this particular video, because humanity loves to hear what makes us feel better about our wrongdoings, I would caution you to clarify exactly what you mean by "There is nothing left for us to do once accepting Jesus." I assume you mean Salvation can not be earned through works but by Faith? This is accurate, but works and good deeds are necessary and good evidence that the spirit dwells in us. JAH (God/Christ) requires absolute obedience once we have knowledge. Disobedience, Christian or not, leads to wrath and eternal damnation.

asia wade hey Asia! There's no condemnation for those in Christ. Jesus covered our past and future sins. As believers we confess it and repent, we then turn away from that sin and rely on Jesus's strength to continue to press towards the mark. The Holy Spirit lives in us not only to convict us but guide us from the sin. This is why it's important to feed the spirit with the word and pray. The battle with the flesh is real, we have to choose God daily!
