This worked perfectly! Well besides Abbey Road songs but reading other comments, it's not the easiest to get working.

I got this to work on the original game disk. The last 2 numbers on the title ID are the region code, so I replaced them with my region code and it worked. Abbey Road worked as well.

I used the region code in the description, and Abbey Road doesn't work, but the other songs do.

This worked almost flawlessly for me, all songs work, and with the original game disk! One problem I did have was that some of the sgt pepper and abbey road songs had strange mixing! If anyone has a solution please tell me!

Still works in 2024! Amazing! But in wiimod you need to uninstall first, then install it.

I was getting that error too, but I just ignored it and booted the game up anyway and all pf the DLC except for Abbey Road worked

I like how this video is like "IT WORKS!" at the end, but the preview audio is very obviously not playing because it didn't actually work. Don't attempt to add Abbey Road songs using this method, the archive has broken files for those songs, and you if try to add them and ever want to fix them, you will have to delete your save file to do it.

@@BeatlesThings Sure. It's possible to fix the Abbey Road songs' files but unfortunately pretty convoluted to do so.

Trying this on rockband 2 but the sd card keeps saying it cant use this sd card . This is the same card ive used for everything for my wii and ive also tried putting the sd card into the wii when the game is trying to look for dlc content not on just startup . Any ideas from anyone else?

Hey! Quick question, my SD Key is not showing with xyzzy and thus is not working because we're required to know it to proceed. Any ideas? I've tried with different SD cards an none of them work. I'm just missing the SD Key line at 1:51, nothing else is missing

for anyone who might be having issues with seeing the games, make sure your online play isnt disabled otherwise it wont get the songs on there!!!!

No need for wifi. All the songs are already on the sd card. To use with physical disc is a bunch more steps. Not sure why you’d want to use a disc if your Wii is modded.

Make sure at the end of the code there's a 45 (that is if you live in the USA) the GH warriors of rock ENDS in 45. I tried getting wads for those it didn't work, I entered 45 at the end and it worked

This worked for the RB3 songs but not for the others. But when I boot up RB3 it counts the RB2 songs as well but they don't show up. Any way to get them to work? I wanna play the Grateful Dead and Black Sabbath tracks again.

@@helpmetooo8509 It works in RB2 but you need to have visited the store back when it was still up. The theory is that visiting the store downloads the dtas into your save file.

I'm trying this method out for Guitar Hero WT dlc. Should I have a bogus wad as well or is that exclusive to Beatles RB. I will go ahead and try to finish this method with out it. I will update later if I got it to work or not. Edit: It did not work but I think I did something wrong. Will update again if I figure out what.

You need the bogus wad IN the wad folder on your SD card

I think you forgot to add the country code (USA 45 / EU 50) at the end of the title ID. I had the same problem.

You need a smaller SD card for rock band 2 2gb max anything lower is fine

You have to use a 2GB or smaller SD card with those games. But that's just the first thing that could be going wrong.

Download Rockband 3 deluxe. Rb2 songs will work in that game. No need to play rb2 unless you want to play the songs that are on the disc.

I’ve gotten one song to work on WiiU, but you need Homebrew on both the WiiU and the virtual Wii channel. All of this stuff is in the Homebrew on the virtual Wii. I screwed up a lot of stuff getting the one song to work, so I haven’t had a chance to load more. The Abbey Road songs won’t work, but there’s another video out there on how to load those.

@Seiya_ you will need to have installed at least v3.7. With this, the python installer will include an option to install tkinter and the IDLE environment. There is no direct way to install tkinter on versions less than 3.7. If none of this works for you, you can try the RiiConnect patcher. There is an option to convert WAD's to the necessary bins and bogus WAD's. BTW, I never got the WAD's to work on RB2, but I did try it on RB3 and they work just fine now.

Hmmm. There's something that I am not doing right. Everything works as described, but they are not showing up in the games on my end. RB3 and Beatles for the WII (using a physical modded Wii with USB Loader GX). I know I am missing something. Any thoughts on what I should double check? I think it is me, because ALL tutorials that I find about this use the exact same steps. Having issues with my save files in both of these games. Would that be causing song problems? What about a WiFi (or WiiConnect) connection. Do I need that to make all of this work?

Im in the same spot. I keep getting error (ret = 0) on Yawm manager since Pimp My Wii is bad and ModLite does nothing. I do however have the SD card option in game greyed out and its turned off so maybe im just cursed lol.

Uninstall twice and then install... this clears the tmd and ticket info that the games need to validate the DLC
