I really struggle with shallowing the club! I’m 6’ 3” and come down on a steep angle! I hit a lot of pushes and have a cupped wrist. My teaching Pro wants my club to swing out to the right. On video I can see that right after contact my club is heading left. I was advised to turn my hands clockwise to shallow the club. Any advice would be really appreciated! Thank you for this timely video! You do a great job!!!

Hi Greg, the club should be moving left post impact (even on a neutral shot) its after checking the pre impact also. Good to put a cane behind the ball pointing to the right and after (pointing left) and feel as if the club is moving on this arc.

What will prevent turning it over too much...i.e. hooking it? Will it be using the turn of the body and not using the releasing of the hands...?

Absolutely. Although of course hands still involved but creating a slower rate of clubface closure 👍🏻
