I'm not sure. It might work, but I know that platinum handles out of bounds differently than diamond and pearl.

It's been forever since I've touched an action replay. I don't remember too much as this was over a decade ago, but it could be version differences. This was Diamond version but I know Platinum version handles out of bounds differently. Also, you might have to try more than once. To my knowledge, the areas don't always load the same way.
