This week on the *Lickitung Show* we rate Shaymin's lickability. Shaymin has a somewhat dry taste, yet exceptionally sweet at the same time. It also smells great. Sadly, the leaves on its back can be quite sharp and may hurt your tongue. Lickability rating: 7/10 "quite lickable". I don't know that Shaymin's necessarily the cutest according to everyone, but I always found it had a cool signature ability in absorbing pollution and using it in attacks. Serene Grace itself is alright, it's just certain moves like Air Slash and Iron Head which really abuse it. Put their flinch chance down to 20% and suddenly it wouldn't look so bad.

Shaymin's the ideal multi-form Pokemon. Recently Game Freak's become too obsessed with powered up forms like Complete Zygarde, Ultra Necrozma, and the Primals just adding to the power creep with each new generation. I like that both Shaymin forms are good in different ways while not being overly-powerful. They're also conceptually more interesting, in the same field as the Deoxys, and Giratina forms where the Pokemon actually changes in a way that's physically and competitively different to the base form.

Crawdaunt - hasn’t been a high-tier superstar, but had its place 147. Yanma/Yanmega - Yanma was one of the worst Pokemon in history, but Yanmega found legitimate use 148. Leavanny - even in the lower tiers, it didn’t really have a niche 149. Glaceon - not really very good at all 150. Dewgong - never really been good, at all 151. Sudowoodo - perfect example of a Pokemon that needs an artificial push 152. Giratina - overall solid through and through 153. Hariyama - alright 154. Slaking - kids should overcome their laziness and go to school 155. Dusclops/Dusknoir - lifetime of crippling mediocrity 156. Golduck - never has been truly excellent 163. Emboar - lower tier lifer 164. Haxorus - ferocious and then some 165. Samurott - an NU lifer 166. Victreebel - always had some sort of forceful impact 167. Zoroark - wasn’t good at all, while also being one of the most definitive Pokemon of all time 168. Wynaut - philosophically, it was hella finna woke 169. Leafeon - call it Bill or Ted 170. Galvantula - wasn’t spectacular 171. Chandelure - quite good 172. Greninja - absolute terror 173. Krookodile - UU lifer 174. Hitmonlee - it’s kicked around lower tiers 175. Medicham - epitomy of fear 176. Scolipede - absolutely dominating (UU) as a trend 177. Luxray - wasn’t good at all 178. Sharpedo - genuinely good (as UU lifer) 179. Vileplume - one of the best lower tier Pokemon 180. (AT)Venomoth - hail Venomothra 181. Rampardos - had been punctuated with heartbreak 182. Hitmonchan - relatively pretty good 183. Excadrill - incredible 184. Bellossom - has been dealt a rough hand 185. Dodrio - had its ups and downs 186. Raticate - to put it lightly, not great 187. Qwilfish - one of the most used lower tier Pokemon of all time 188. Camerupt - mostly lower tier Pokemon 189. Xatu - not a world beater, but a terrific support 190. Shaymin - both of its forms had successful competitive history
