hi Stefan, about the UPC barcodes from speedy or other websites that are not GS1, have you seen the new rules of amazon saying that you "are recommended" to buy directly from GS1 and have the barcode registered to your company because the other ones are being reused? The only problem for a fba starter is that the GS1 barcodes are very expensive and you have to register them to your company, so some one starting may not have a LLC yet. What is your point on this one?

You need one barcode for each reference you sell. If you sell white t-shirts you need 1 barcode that you will use for all these white t-shirts. If you sell white and red t-shirt you need a barcode for the white and a barcode for the red. If you a sell a bundle of "white + red t-shirt" then you need a barcode for the bundle.

That depends on the size/weight of the product and how many units of inventory you're storing in Amazon... they have long-term storage fees if your product doesn't sell and they hold it.
