Fill out the dream sheet and pray. I did 2 overseas tours, Guam and Kunsan. Do not hesitate to volunteer to go TDY. Been to Australia, Egypt, spain and the Philippines. Security Forces you will travel. I was Security Police back in the day. Volunteer!!

Awesome video brothas and this is a great channel Kev. I’m in the process of enlisting as active duty and like you mentioned in the video I think I would want to be stateside first(aiming for MacDill) just so I can be somewhat acclimated to things and focus on what I need to do to better myself and career but Aviano, Osan, and Yokota definitely jumped out to me. Again, this was a very informative video especially as a prospective airman and I thank all of you for service.

I'm a single father my daughters stay with me would they station me overseas somewhere my kids can't come with me for my first duty station?

If you’re stationed overseas for a standard tour, not a deployment, your family can come with you. They will be listed as your dependents, and your housing and food checks will be adjusted. I believe there are only a few places that your family can’t come, those are usually the short tours overseas (Korea, Turkey, and some others).
