FYI if you assist Leda and follow her questline you can get 2 talismans. One enhances running attacks and the other enhances dodging and crouch attacks.

It's wild fromsoft went back and nerfed Moonveil AGAIN but hand of rot bitch is still being spammed and they gave us a new ash that's not only got a wide multi hit hitbox but is also a teleporting move. It really feels like they want dealing with cheese ass invaders to be the elden ring multi-player experience on console. Since pc can just download seamless CO-OP they don't have to put up with this cancer. Moonveil hasn't been a threat in months but let's nerf it specifically again and just ignore the ash that has really taken its place as the shitlord invader spam move

Other backhand blades can be acquired from the curse blade aesthetics.. the curseblades cirque, which is also the very first enemy introduced upon entering the dlc from the first site of grace. Look ahead and perched atop the archway is an enemy that drops down, you can farm his backhand blade and full armor set

Note to all: All you need to get this Ash of War is to ask Leda to eliminate Hornsent and Assist him in black keep by killing Leda. That's it! Nothing else required. In my play through, I haven't defeated the divine beast or talked to the old lady. I just assisted Hornsent and after the fight was over, I got the Ash of War.

the dlc quest line is prob the most confusing one, I've done moore and hornsent questline apparently despite not following the steps shown in the video, I've not met hornsent grandma but his sign still showed up next to lena's and as for moore by the time I received the concoction even after the shattering of the great rune moore immediately died before I even meet messmer.

I found there’s another backhand blade you can get that you can apply ashes of war to as well and the heavy attack is a projectile. It’s in the forge just southwest of the Moorth Ruins, it looks like a little square on the map. Also the enemy type that you see right after the first grace can drop their weapon as backhand blades as well and they’re pretty nice. They inflict bleed and take somber stones so you can’t adjust them. Just found the first half out by accident an hour ago and looked up the 2nd one😂

Yeah, i really love the backhand blades that you can throw. Very fun to use and they do great damage for my build. Because I don't want to miss out on certain weapons and would like to try everything I can, my build is the following: 60 Vigor 40 Mind 50 Endurance 40 Strength 40 Dexterity 40 Intelligence 40 Faith 20 Arcane This isn't that crazy of a build, and yeah I might not get the most out of certain weapons or spell, but the damage is just fine and it lets me use so many different weapons and spells. I have the Blind Spot ash of war on my Smithscript Cirque (backhand blade with throwing heavy attack) and I have the Cold affinity on it, so it builds up frostbite. The only thing I don't like about the throwing weapons (aside from the spears) is that they have such little range. The daggers don't go very far at all and on their own don't do crazy damage, and these backhand blades don't really go very far either. I do love that the blades curve when you throw them, and the tracking on them is amazing. I mostly use the jumping heavy attack since the blades curve around smaller enemies and will spin around and hit them from behind, great for enemies with shields

@@Egg_Wallace Yea I get that first part cause when I started the game I didn’t know what builds really were so I was trying to go even stats across the board cause I like to be able to to everything. And when I saw them in the trailer I knew I had to have them. As I got later into the game I think it wasn’t until I got to Mohg and he was wrecking me that I figured out I needed to change something so I looked into builds and went for a Dex build with ice and bleed twin blades which basically carried me to the end of the game. I’m in NG+ after finishing the DLC so my build now is Vigor: 47 Mind: 40 Endurance: 40 Strength:35 Dexterity: 75 Intelligence: 35 Faith: 40 Arcane: 40 So not too too far off from yours but yea pretty much the same sentiment, I can use mostly everything I want just some spells and stuff here and there I can’t

Hey Just so you know... Skadu Altus has a Forge that when you complete it gives you a Smithscript "Backhand Blade".. It's called something else and looks like the weapon the dancing assassin's use but It is in that Catagory.. though I like the easiest one to get cause you can use Bloodflame Blade on it..

You don`t have to kill any boss or talk to grandma, just start ansbach`s quest then talk to hornsent, then offer hornsent to leda and thats all, summoning signs will appear in shadowkeep. after assisting hornsent you will get swift slash

@@ParadiseLordRyu probably, or you can just use a save state right before you drop the weapon with the ash so they’re able to pick it up but you can still load your save and you’ll still have it. If you’re on PlayStation you can do this by uploading and then downloading cloud save data

You can in fact trade ashes of war by applying it to a weapon before you drop it. However make sure you duplicate it or you might lock yourself out of getting that ashe of war until ng+ Also because this ashe of war is backhand blade spacific you might want to farm an extra set of the cirquet ones since there is only one set of the other 2

I didn't even suggest him to her. It looks like all it does by suggesting him is give you the option to assist her. Otherwise, just progress normally and get to that area and you can assist him in defeating her and you still get it. I didn't do any of the other stuff besides exhaust each of the characters dialogues that linger around the sites of grace.

I hate how you have to do multiple play throughs to get all the stuff you want for a build. When I do do new play throughs I want to do new builds, but to get all the cool dex stuff I have to get both Leda and Horns rewards. Same thing with Bayle, both are arcane spells and I have to play through the whole game again to get both. Arcane already has so little variety going for it, they should’ve just made it a remembrance.

I can't wait to ng+ again to do 6 quests i missed by playing the game and then another ng+ to do the other 9 quests locked out by the previous 6 Man im just sick of getting shredded by this AoW during invasions :(

You can skip most of the steps that you say are necessary. Just dont beat messmir before you do their duel
