Let me know if you were using already the DENSITY feature, or if I convinced you to try the Seqund out :)

An update desperately needs a lock feature, locking indvidual steps you like and randomise the others.

@@EmpiricalMind That and the option to expand the grid (not just the time division) to 32 steps! It's already an awesome sequencer, though, and I use it all the time.

@@IzopticMusic Exactly, 32 or 64 steps to be able to see at once would be great!!! And a bit deeper control over 303 like "accents" would be amazing

hello. Im having trouble mapping the cc numbers of my vst synths. Most synths do not have the right click assign cc number like the one in this video. Im using ableton btw. Any help? thanks
@distillednoise Жыл бұрын
Ableton synths don’t work! For external vsts you should have a look at the manual if they are mappable

@@distillednoise Please make an explanatory video of mapping the cc numbers. I just can't understand the manual. I'm using Logic.

I want more probability per sequencer lane; not just for Gate or for Pitch A/B. Chance for tie, CC, octave etc.

Can you shift the timing of notes? I know you can do swing but that doesn't give you that much control.
@distillednoise4 ай бұрын
No, you can’t but i never felt the need for it tbh.

Can you lock some parameters or whole steps so random wont change it? Also really wierd decision to have default note set closest to C and not root note. Really interesting tool but still really similar to probablistic seq which is great! hope to have some updates and new features to this one! :)
@distillednoise Жыл бұрын
You can lock parameters, cause every parameter is separate. Randomization affects one single parameter. You can’t lock steps for what i know. But this is a feature that could be added. The vst will be updated with time, as Alex told me. The difference with prob seq is huge. First of all because of the possibility of setting the range. Prob Seq was sometimes giving sequences spreaded in too many octaves. Second, i prefer to work on a bigger and clearer interface, bjt that’s my personal taste.
@exitthelemming145 Жыл бұрын
The lock function would be useful on individual steps and I think a simple tweak to the code would set the root note to the root note of the scale chosen by the user. Seqund looks like a very versatile and 'musical' tool and kudos to the presenter for some valuable advice on getting the best out of probabilistic sequencers i.e. without a discerning ear it's still GIGO

There are a lot of great sequencers out there, its well designed but it doesn't have any features that make want to pay what he is asking. I would rather a sequencer had electron like trig conditions for each step, I would pay for that.
