Transporting works differently than the other work suitabilities: a pal will approach an stack and from that stack try and pick up their maximum amount of goods, determined by their suitability level, once it has that amount of goods picked up it will begin moving towards the closest acceptable storage box however its movement speed will change based on the pal doing the transporting. Workspeed passives do not interact with the movement of goods so the only passives that are applicable to transporting pals are movement speed passives, meaning you will have to breed them separately from your other workers. another quirk of transporting is if the objects are arranged in multiple small stacks, the pal *Will not* interact with multiple stacks to move more of their total in a single trip, they will make individual trips based on their interaction with each stack. This massively slows down collection of goods like Ore and wood from the raw node and is the reason why most players play with the work sites only at endgame. This also applies to ranch pals, though they produce infrequently enough that its not often an issue. The fastest transporters in order are Faleris, Anubis, Vanwyrm, Quivern, Cryolinx, Lovander, Helzepher, mimmog and then Knocklem. if you are doing a lot of small stacks of stuff (like wood from trees) your best pal is going to be Vanwyrm as being dark it can run the 10% "Nimble" passive over something like Faleris which will need Nocturnal making its base of 475 increase to 522 over Faleris with a base of 500. if you are mostly using things that accumulate goods, like Ore sites, production lines, or the crusher, the best pal will have Transporting 5 which is easiest to get on Knocklem. once you have access to transporting books Vanwyrm becomes the best all-around transporter.

For handiwork i would recomend against selene just because of how slow it moves Orserk with nocturnal is wayyyy better than helzephir lux with serius. Every Level up a pal makes in work affinities almost doubles its speed. Also even if you use books (wich are too rare to really farm) orserk has 900 run speed and helzephir lux only 700 so orserk will move way quicker around the base Sidenote: If you are hard farming books orserk can do the same as helzephir and selene all in 1

yee thats a big reason why people love anubis his move speed is hella high as well plus it seems his big reason for splatterina is her medicine... cept im using the harvest boost pal for medicine since having her in my base boosts crop yeild i dont need to double up on medicine pals

@wowarchershirou yeah anubis is also faster than splaterina but slower than orserk. So if you have the books for it orserk is the "best" handiwork electric and mover pal because he can easily switch between jobs and run between them all. Also unless you are making advance ones you don't even need a medicine pal as buying the medicine with gold seems way more convenient

If you are breeding pals to perfection, AND using books. Dazzi Noct is the best electricity pal in the game. Don't recommend that grind but if you are doing it. Dazzi Noct is THE BEST.

So for Saylene, I have to breed a crafter Yakumo and hope the next some drop in on some meteors to have a hope in getting the traits needed to breed for a good handiwork pal that doesn't sleep and /or going into caves for Splatterina (that could also murder my pup in seconds) to do the same? That is not great to be honest, especially for people who don't have access to mods. It's grest idea for sure but it's a shedload of hours wasted to get to that point.

I think you might be interested in a video by TropsPlays, he tests all the electricity generating pals at maximum work suitability (capped out by the new books). The results are super interesting, he also tests traits, including dark pals vs. non-dark pals with "Nocturnal"/"Vampirism". Might inspire you like it did for me

Just use the original game best pals with Nocturnal/Vampric for non-Dark ones and you're golden. At most, I'd replace Jormuntide for Felaris Aqua. Farming and ranches are useless (well, you need 1 for honey) if you catch merchants and buy everything for gold. Make an ore mining base and craft regular ingots to make into gold with the new coin mint. You'll have so much gold you won't know what to do with it.

Bro just find a nocturnal Rayhound/Mossander, Then make a relaxasaurous with either nocrurnal or preferably remarkable, artisan, work slave, you then get a nocturnal orserk who works like a B****, my power is never down in my oil farm I got 6 running

For watering, I’m absolutely a Faleris Aqua stan. Jormentide is too obnoxiously long and looks ridiculous clipping through everything with its tail. It becomes an eye sore that takes away from more aesthetic bases. Faleris Aqua is never on the ground blocking your view and can be condensed to be just as efficient as Jormentide in watering. Also, Prunelias condensed to level 5 planting/gathering are absolutely replacing Lyleen when it comes to their yield-increasing skill.
