How to get the eBay shifter cables to work when installed in the rsx.

Hey guys, if you've installed some eBay shifter cables like what I have here and afterwards you can't select all the gears then this video is for you. I'm going to upload a full installation video soon.

They only work with out the clip if you have the aftermarket cable bracket if you are using the stock bracket you will need to use the stock clips

Yea I realized but it's good to have options just in case you're not in possession of the bracket.

omg man ima try this tomorrow just tossed in new trans and got this cable set and was grinding 4th super hard to put in cant find 5th or 6th so hope this fixes the issue.

I used a large washer instead of the clip, because I had no clips. I am using a hybrid racing no cut shifter box with ebay cables in a k24 del sol. Thank you again brother, you saved me from having to buy 400$ cables with a .50 cent washer. You have a new subscriber my friend

For me they're holding up good from the day of installation.

@@rohanovegeway8627 awesome man thanks for the reply, my rsx struggles to go into 1st and 2nd keeps popping out I got a new clutch installed and it kept the same issue I strongly believe it's my shifter cables

If it still continues to do that after changing the cables then it's inside the gearbox, synchro and locking rings worn.

Iv had trouble with 2nd n 4th gear kept popping out had to adjust it agian and made sure i didn't have slack but now my reverse is like it wont go in hopefully this works
