"How do I the film look? Buy this product." Heres how you really get the film look: Camera Exposure, Lighting, and post. Camera exposure is how u set up ur camera. ( Iso, shutter speed, color balance, and f/stop.) Lighting is how the irl space is set up. Post is done in editing or with some other program specifically for it, like advertized in this video. But you dont need that. All you need is your editing software of choice and you'll look as good as any movie. Getting the look you want in post is a skill ofc, but a tip to get you started is just add + 5% contrast.

@gamemaster-gr2kh there are plenty of great youtube videos on both of these questions. Im a big believer that college isnt nesacary to be a filmmaker, however i dont think the youtube comment section is a good alternative.

@@gamemaster-gr2kh ISO is related to light exposure and a setting on your camera, 100-200 iso is good for cinematic look in most scenarios, 800 iso is the highest iso usually allowed to maintain control of light exposure. This is true for most beginner cameras ($500-$1000) and lumafusion ($40)or Da Vinci (free for basic) are both affordable apps with professional editing and grading tools.

hmmm I think that gawx got influenced by film makers and everybody else too. He is not the guru or role model for other creators here. For example: Lipsyncing is general practice in the movies world (even though they are more pro with this) and the "film look" is nothing gawx invented. I think he is an amazing film maker but not everybody got influenced by gawx tho

It’ll take you maybe 30 mins to an hour to hike there from the nearest parking lot. Lots of cool stuff to see on the way. That exact spot is called LaSalle Canyon :)
