What a great video, you seem such a nice person, simple, talented, and good sense of humor so I’m going to subscribe to your channel I just bought the small Sizzix machine and just can’t wait to receive it (live out of USA) as I did all my embellishments from scratch, drawing, cutting just too much work and how useful tips you share on your video...congratulations and greetings from Guatemala 🌸🌼🍭

Just want to buy the basic geometric dies for English paper piecing-can’t figure where to buy-I got a sissix at an auction with no dies included

I am brand new to this machine so I am watching a number of videos to get familiar with it. I noticed you cut with the blade facing down and others use the dies with the blades facing up. Does it matter which way you face the dies?

I am still waiting to find out if the Express machine is for use in the USA. That is still unclear.

I'm thinking of getting a Big Shot but I make things with felt and they usually tend to be very small and sometimes unique, so I'm not sure if I will be able to find dies in the shapes I want... the nesting circles would be great, as would rectangles. But what I really need are teardrop shapes. All from 1/4" to 1", but not much bigger than that. Do they make any that small?

Your cards are really cute. I wish more people would show what they put INSIDE the card, tho.

Wait, what? I'm confused. In my experience, the cutting pads become curved into a "bowl" shape (shorter sides raising higher than the middle) from putting them through the rollers with the same side facing up, over and over, and in order to flatten them again, you have to flip them over to where the middle is popped up like an upside down bowl and use them that way for a while. Not the other way round. But great tutorial on the card. You are always so fun! Love those drop in border dies!

Thanks for your insight. I flip mine over at the first sign of warping and it flattens out pretty quickly. As long as people are aware to flip it over when it warps they should be okay. I totally understand what you mean. Thanks for watching.

How does that bow go through US mail? Can you use a regular envelope or do you have to use a padded envelope? Also, remember square envelopes need more postage.
@stankyp.78585 жыл бұрын
Jean Taylor It is an A2 in size, regular envelope and no extra postage needed. Almost all of her card making dies are A2 There were a few that needed the big shot plus. Stephanie used the regular big shot here.

Hello Stacey! Altenew has a line of thin metal dies known as Mega dies. Some of the available words include 'Thanks', 'hello', 'friend', 'happy', 'blessed', 'love', and 'hope'. They also have large individual letters that you can use to spell out your own words. You can find those here: www.scrapbook.com/store/products/altenew+dies+mega.html?o=0&t2=die+cutting Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

So you need to buy paper plus the sizzix adhesive? Hum, why not buy paper or vinyl that already has the adhesive on the back.
