Not long had a Wattbike Atom, do i need erg mode on if using the hub app to climb Alp d’huez in the climbing training part of the app?

Not done it in the app itself but I’d say no, use the gears and ride it like you would in real life if you are just wanting to go for a time/experience the gradient. ERG is mainly for structured workouts where all you care about is hitting a power for a given time period.

Awesome cool. Wasn’t sure if you had to have it on erg mode to get the real time gradients that’s all. Really need to work out how to use this machine! 😂😂😂
