Can you buddy not give you something that says he is selling it to you, and what he did to obtain the bike? He should be the one doing the work.

I'd try the form you can download from my site, use what's in there as a template, provide your evidence, get your affidavit notarized, and say your prayers and dress nice before you go the MOT/DOT.

@@Mackahroney it might be easier if your friend does this first and gets it registered in his/her name, and then sells it to you, just one less degree of seperation, but if your friend can't be bothered try it yourself. Good luck!
