Moth and the Sword one I just could not solo despite trying many very different builds on my warlock, titan and hunter. I gave up and MM and we did it pretty quickly. That moth one is so bloody annoying as the only thing that works against them is going invisible and that doesn't last long. I really hate whoever came up with that mission and prevented weapons or skills from auto targeting the moths, so frustrating.

@@richard-davies from what I have heard, it appears Bungie raised the time trial to 6 minutes for moth-infested cavern and fixed a bug where an Acolyte would fail to spawn and delay your run. I had a hard time too but I got it done solo with a Prasmatic Warlock using Song of Flame and Getaway artist with Bleak artist and Feed the void fragments. You literally have to bum-rush the plates, there's no time at all to preemptively shoot the moths.... it's very very annoying

The easiest way I found to complete Moth-Infested Cavern solo was to run Graviton Forfeit on Hunter with Rat king. The mission is solely focused around the plates, go invis and cycle invis until each of the plates are done. Spawn kill the wizards and ogres with a rocket in the transition sections and burst down the Lucent wizard at the end, go invis > crush her ghost > job done. The timing for the mission is extremely tight though, so you basically can't die at all

You said "this is gonna be the hardest part" and I braced myself for something painful like "do a flawless run of dual destiny" but instead it was "reset ghost reputation 3 times" which is one of the only things I've already done lol

For Moth-Infested Caverns, if you don't want to go Invis Hunter, Heartshadow will get you through the plates very quickly. So you should have plenty of time for the shooting gallery at the end.

The repeatable Alone in the Dark quest from Micah-10 is also a 500 increase in Ghost rep. So if it lines up with one of your pathfinder/overgrowth runs, do that too.

Completing excision on normal difficulty completed the gm excision triumph for me

For a moth infested cavern you can use a void hunter with trappers ambush, stylish executioner and the exotic sword heart shadow and you will invisible all the time

Great tips! That moth infested cavern is brutal. I always get super stressed out during timed challenges though. I even did my master’s thesis on how timed tasks can have an impact on our word finding abilities.

That shader bug is annoying me to, only one I really need plus one more ghost reset. Who would have thought a shader would be the hardest one to get 😄. Also feathers in Dual Destiny, think there was 5 in there but they are easy enough to find.

Nah dog, if you're watching KZbin videos on Destiny you are not in that crowd. I'm talking super casuals that barely know how to play. That sort of player will objectively make it harder, but not impossible. But if you're in to Destiny enough to be watching content I have no doubt you'll find a team and complete it just fine!

Why would you spend money and time on this game just to be a deadweight player? It's bad enough people thinking they can raid with no effort to learn anything and using the worst possible loadouts, compared to that there's like 1 hard thing to do. Everything is else is just put the time in. Might as well just pay someone to do the work for you at that point if that's too much.
