There's easier (kind of way) - you still need to do 2 contracts in Drowned lands, but when you finally get access to Quarry - you do'n t need to go to Zimnegorsk. Instead, you can go to Rift map (gateway is located near quarry in the top part of the map), there you locate 3 watchtowers, and pick a Pacifist quest. Then you need to pull out a drownd Tatarin nearby . Suprsiingly, it's really easy to winch - I pulled it out of the water with a Lo4f scout with stock engine and autonomous winch. When you pull it out yo'll need to refuel and repair it - you can use top rack of your scout, if you run out of repair parts and fuel - you can tow it to a refuel/repair station that is located close to gateway, ther you can finish the repairs and voila - the best early/mid/late game scout is yours. I mean, that thing literaaly shits on any kind of mud you throw at it.

if u use the bandit with mud tires it will crawl thru anything to get there no prob. just just put on the repare add on that has gas. also at the road block there is a road that u can turn onto right below that first watchtower that comes out just past the blockage and its jut a rocky road so not to bad to get thru.

thanks for the video. I followed your tipps to get the TUZ. I also got the YAR because I turned LVL10 and it unlocked in the shop so why not. Else I must say everything was easier than it sounded in the video except for reaching the seismic west point which was a pain in the ass with my lvl10 Tayga (without mud tires and low suspension). Here is some stuff I found that makes everything much faster and easier compared to how it's done in the video: 1) don't carry the fuel trailer, there are several fuel stations on the way, fuel is not the issue for this mission 2) in kzbin.info/www/bejne/nH2rfoRrbLypfdU where the road is blocked you take a turn right of that broken house. I went through the fence like 10m left of that house leaving the house on my right side. This brings you instantly to the road instead of ending up in all the water where you got stuck for so long 3) The river crossing in Zimnegorsk is no problem without a trailer. Aim for the trees a few meters up the river just in case you need to winch, it is really easy. 4) the final hill climb to the TUZ can be done much faster, just go up in a streight line like you had it on the map, there will be only a tiny rock ledge with trees growing above it so you can winch over this and you barely need a minute to climb this. In the end I was happy to have brought the fuel trailer and leaving it at the river in Zomnegorsk. It helped me with fuel issues when I entered the map another time with other cars.

Video was very helpfull, I do have one piece of advise that can speed up your run. With the fallen antenna tower; you can drive "over" it. I have a stock motor Yar and if you stick as far right as possible, basicly scratching your right side on the tower you can drive trough the gap. Your left side will go over the rocks but the tipping risk seems to be low.

Quick tip: if your driving the hummer you can just winch through the rockslide and ignore the driving through mud (I learned this just as a test and it worked lol)

My international paystar 5070 will.climb right over that road block and rocks where you took forever to get around in the swamp and trees. Really any lifted vehicle in this game except the chevy could make it over that obstacle
