Hi Kathy! I was a student of yours a few years ago! I would have stayed in the program (I think I followed it for at least a year?)....anyway, what I learned from you so much useful information and developed new skills following your ways. I dropped off, because my Husband of 29 years developed a severe illness called Multi-System-Atrophy, MSA plus Parkinson's Disease, a rare case at 50. Basically, he had ALS plus tremors. It was devastating, I became his 24-7 caregiver. You prepared me with good habits, and the ability to let go of stuff. I couldn't keep up on the house, with two special nerds kiddos and barely 4 hours rest every two days. I just started chucking. After my Husband died (a year and a half ago), I gave myself permission to let everything I couldn't keep up with go,, and worked on those things you taught me. You helped me so much. I took your program at just the right time, not knowing what lay ahead of me or the children..❤️🙏❤️

Hey, @Summertakacs-michaelsonch8842 I'm so sorry it took me soooo long to see your comment! OMG darling girl I'm so sorry about what you have gone through, and your husband. I'm so sorry for your loss :( I'm so thankful that I could be there for you. I wish you would have let me know what you were going through, I am not a gatekeeper. I would have helped you with support inside the membership as you needed it... Anyway, I am so sorry for your loss and what you've been through. And I'm so thankful that you found my program when you did. Please let me know if I can help you in any way.

Hi Kathy and everyone. Thank you for all you do. My favorite thing to do is to play music while I do chores because I am difficult to motivate. Again, thank you for every nugget of help you share ❤

Thanks Kathy!!! This makes so much sense!! Do things because they need to be done... who knew??? Not me!!! If i don't feel like it, it won't get done was how I always was. Now I usually tell myself, work for 5 minutes, then take a break. And do that throughout the day. I mostly get my stuff done. Thanks for these videos that explain so much!!

This was absolutely perfect! I really needed to hear this! It puts so much in perspective for me. I really loved the TV comment as I do that when I'm doing tasks I find tedious, difficult, etc.😊

Very interesting content. I have to say that I, while left brained in many ways, have been prone to disorganization. Weirdly enough, it is precisely because of perfectionism- no paper based organization system can be maintained perfectly enough for me, and I avoided the extra work and the calendar as if it were just more "clutter". What helped me a good deal was when I could use digital systems (TickTick and a calendar app in my case) to feed myself a task list and complete it 100% each day, moving tasks if I needed to without the "mess" of having to erase. This is really gratifying to me, so that I have made solid improvements in different aspects of life. Paper was just never able to do that for me. I only mention it in case someone else is similar and might get something out of the same approach.

Is the app called TickTick?, I have been searching for an app that would help me but not be so much work and would also let me move the stuff I didn't get done to another day or week.
@mayharmon6948 Жыл бұрын
@@mspurpleturtle1 TickTick is pretty good that way. You can reschedule easily. Repeat tasks are good too; it's so important to have an app that is very flexible about how often you can repeat a task. You can also make non-task lists like grocery.
