I have 2 sons. Ive tried all this. The oldest responded well, and learned. The youngest is still struggling at 10 years old. One thing I didn't hear you mention is the mother. I love my wife, but she is a whiner sometimes. Young men need to distance themselves from their mother's personality.

I feel you. My wife isn’t a whiner. She’s a yeller, not a teller, so our boys are picking up her explosive communication patterns. That’s my fault for having chosen poorly… but that’s another topic.

My 9 year old whines when I tell him is time to go home and stop playing. He keeps saying " please mom, please, just 10 minutes." Is annoying, I can't stand it! All the way walking home, he tries and sometimes succeed to stay a little bit more playing with his friends. But still gets mad after 10 minutes passed.

He is trying to help dads...of course the algorithm that is controlled doesn't help him. They don't want a well educated, polite society that good dads bring about. They want disfunction, so they can sell you BS stuff to "fix" or distract you from your problems.
