Best tip for me: Find out your due date vs your statement date, (they are five days apart). You can RUN UP your card as long as you pay it down (hopefully between 4-6% per month) on the bill's due date. Do not touch credit card (for five days) until your statement date, after the statement date you can run it up again. This is for that struggle period when you just starting out and your limits aint that large yet. But I still do it to this day, fools the computers.

But you guys are forgetting compound interest. 80k mortgage does not mean you pay back 80k. Over the life of the mortgage, 80k will mostly result in 150k. So you need to make an assessment of the expected growth in asset value vs total morgate value. If greater, buy the property, if not, invest in something else.

Alternatively, look at the status of the economy and how that might impact real estate sector. That can give you a good indicator of expected growth in property value. You cam also take historical data to determine the average annual growth in property value to give you a good estimate.

That is it! I'm not bragging, but I'm currently at 797 credit score, and I'm in my 30s. The best 3 tips I can give you is 1. No late payments ever, be timely. 2. Pay off the balance every billing period. 3. Keep your credit line at or under 6%, but always use your card every month. So if your credit line is 10,000, spend 600.00 every month. Added bonus- Pay off a car note. With no late payments.

If the secured credit card become unsecured does the card limit stay the same as the money you put on it, does it lower, does it go higher?

If it doesn’t become unsecured automatically with a bigger credit line after a period of time a say 6months-1yr call the bank and demand to increase ur limit, if they say no find out why, if it’s a crap answer pay off the debt and never use the card again but keep the card so u can hold on to the credit history which will help you later on down the line but don’t close the account unless absolutely necessary u want to keep that good credit history on file hope it helps 🤷‍♂️ and in some cases after the bank sees u haven’t been using the credit card anymore for a certain period of time they will circle back and change their mind and give u a larger limit plus some bells and whistles just to apologize

So anyone can add anyone as an authorized user on their credit card or is it immediate family only? Does the secondary's credit affect the primary's credit? For example, say my Dad puts me on his card as an AU and I incur a debt sonewhere else on my own that affects my credit score, is my Dad's standing (credit score, available credit, his ability to get approved for loans etc) affected based on our relationship via the card? Do I appear on his history AT ALL or is everything totally separate? Basically, we both have access to the line of credit and we are both held responsible for the bill based on our social security numbers. Or is HE the only one held accountable as a cosigner?
