I think he’s a doodle. There’s way too many out there so we’ll wait for him to get back to let us know.

Alright, how to do this if your dog isn't food motivated and doesn't even look at you when you say their name?

Use their meal. Few repetitions when you know they're hungry or it's time to eat. Suzanne Clothier's automatic check in is particularly helpful. Without begging for their attention or bribing them, you're simply waiting for them to look at you. As soon as they do, Yes, pause, treat or part of their meal, maybe with a little something extra in there like cheese or liverwurst, especially if they do it really fast. Susan Garrett also has a video on ranking reinforcements for your dog. Hope that helps.

@robinrutherfordcost4748 thanks for the help. Using her meal is a problem for me as she eats raw and I'm not too keen on hauling around raw chicken wings lmao but i do it with some treats, kibble and hotdogs but usually she doesn't care about it. I do all of it before her meal to make sure she is hungry but i guess some dogs are just more interested in other stuff.

I make a kissing sound, exclusively, with my Mastiff to call her attention. Seems to work well for us! She's also responsive to her name but having a dedicated "pay attention" sound clarifies the intent.
