Hi Chris, I commented on your video in regards to the latest update bricking Fire Sticks. I don't know it you found a way of possibly fixing that, but I came across another YT'ers video of how to connect your Fire Stick to a computer/laptop, using an ADB file, and enter command prompts to possibly fix the problem on these Fire Sticks that are being Bricked. The reason I am writing you here is that I had a difficult time understanding the other YT'ers instructions.. And I think a combination of your process here along with what the other person put up might make it easier for some to follow.. I figured I would make a suggestion to see if you could maybe look into it and possibly make a simpler video to help. *The YT'ers that made his video is a very nice gent, but it wasnt his fault that I had trouble following it. I believe it was mine from not being as tech savvy.

I have not heard of any sure fire way of doing this via ADB as normally you need a working stick to be able to turn on ADB debugging in the menus of the stick itself, but if you cant boot the stick in the first place you wont be able to access the menu. Some users have found that if you leave the stick unplugged from the TV and Mains overnight, then plug it in the next day and then leave it on the stuck screen for 30 minutes it may correct itself, just make sure the stick is close to your Wifi so that its getting a good connection, whilst its doing this!

i have mine on both my puters but i use the OBS Studios app instead of VLC.

I use that too, but setup of VLC is more straightforward to setup.

Hi Chris, is there another programme other than VLC to watch my firestick through, VLC is so pixalated that it is not good enough to view my firestick. I have tried various settings through watching youtube but to no avail. I have downloaded bluestacks which is fine but I would like an alternative. Thanks. I also have OBS.

Go To Advanced Options (as shown in the Video) then Tick Device Properties, click Play and you should see in the 2nd Properties box (after you click OK on the First Properties box) Output Size, change that to 1280x720 then click ok and ok again.
