Years ago I had the opportunity to sell my product in Walmart. It was extremely stressful but very rewarding. The first order was over $500,000.
Looking back it would’ve been helpful to have someone to guide us through this process. That’s why I’m happy to have Brian O’Dell on inventRightTV. Brian discusses how to successfully sell into the retail giant Walmart!

Hello Stephen! Excellent content and so enjoyable! Thank you! Quick question, please. Your thoughts on IP (specifically copyrighted characters) owners/licensors approaching Walmart about licensing directly to WMT for use on their house apparel brands? Thereby bypassing a manufacture, distributor or wholesaler. Is this an usual strategy or does it happen?? Any insight would be helpful. Thank you soooooooo much.

So another question with Walmart do a trial test on the new product from a person? In their local area first? For a couple months to see how things go. DFW area there’s probably 200 Walmarts try that area first?

There’s one thing you should always keep in mind. Shipping requirements are extremely strict when working with big box stores. The size of box,the labeling of each box is extremely regulated. If you do not abide by their standards, you get fined.

So I am better than a product that is not on the market. Been trying to sell it for the last five years no one knows what to do with it but it’s so simple. But you could take a look at it on KZbin, just a shelf, KZbin that and you’ll see my product. And every human being could use five of these little plastic shelves that go everywhere in their life in the world at work at home in the truck. Just don’t know how to market the damn thing. I’ll take any helpful hints or aid or help, let me know what you think and everybody would Byam if once they learn what it does just like a VCR player nobody wanted to it until we all learn how to use it
