I got started by examining every little habit I had within the big habit of drinking. When, How, Where, How much, What kind, With Whom, How Long, How many hours, did I smoke more, type of glass, did I hold it constantly or set it down each sip, did I combine, how many drinks did it it take, which days did I take off, how many days of the year spent drunk or hungover, holidays, how much money, what did I say to people, what did I tell my doctor, how does my body really feel each day. As I began to look - I could see where I could cancel some out. Part of the body will resist for a long time and want you to go back to what it knows and what it wants. Keep working to make little changes toward your positives - those cells want to be positive and hope for health. Every + thought and effort helps make stronger + cells. Slowly back away and reduce. (Notice I didn't mention any whys or what happened - those are discouraging thoughts and drag you back). Practice and keep practicing. Takes time and you'll drink sometimes at first but not every time and that's a plus+ -- your post is also a +

You might want to read chapter 11, of St Paul's letter to the Hebrews, where he reminds us that all the old time heroes became stronger in battle. They didn't start out strong. Yes. Changing my environment is what I did 6 yrs ago. I was homeless and addicted to illegal substances. I woke up one day really exhausted and said “enough” I relocated back to the place I had support and love of my family. I got a “well job” and started to map out my life. I decided to back to school and became a healthcare professional. So change is always good and thanks for pointing that out in this video. I’m currently debating getting another certification for my job and this video brought me some clarity. THANKS!!!!

The common belief that a stable job leads to financial success contrasts with the approach of billionaires, who focus on entrepreneurship, investing, and building passive income streams through long-term strategies and calculated risks methods not typically taught in traditional career paths. Most people are unaware of these alternative principles that can lead to greater wealth
@EdwardTravis2Ай бұрын
Isn't it interesting how billionaires often brainwash people into believing that chasing money isn't the path to happiness? The truth is, while money itself might not bring happiness, it does provide security and freedom. These billionaires are securing wealth for future generations, and one thing they all have in common is that they're investors. It's crucial for people to take their financial literacy seriously and consider investing in the stock market. It really can work for you and help you build the financial future you deserve.

The one thing I was totally guilty of in the past is when I entered flow state. As soon as I felt good about my work speed and being in the zone, I would get excited and either immediately play video games or I would stand up and go do something else. It was weird. Then I designated time slots for getting stuff done and a 10 minute flow state turned into 45+ minutes.
@supriyanitya2 ай бұрын
Dealing with the same, why doesn't it happen though
@RobertPlank27 күн бұрын
This video is packed with practical advice, and step one really hits home: your environment matters more than you think. It’s a reminder that mindset alone isn’t always enough-sometimes you need to physically change the spaces and people influencing you. I like the idea of being intentional about who you let "give their opinion power" over your life, whether it’s in person or through content you consume online. The "just do it" mindset in step two is another game-changer. Overthinking is a trap so many people fall into, and it’s true that action often teaches you more than endless planning ever could. The part about putting down a book and implementing the advice immediately really resonates-how often do we collect ideas but fail to act on them? Step four stood out as well: avoiding the dragon instead of trying to slay it. Designing an environment that makes success easier, whether it’s meal prepping or avoiding toxic gatherings, is such a simple but overlooked approach. Sometimes it’s not about willpower; it’s about removing the need for it altogether. The emphasis on rewarding yourself in step eight is key too. Pushing hard without small wins can feel draining, so designing rewards for milestones gives purpose to the grind. This whole framework feels like a sustainable blueprint for real change, and I love the focus on accountability, consistency, and designing a game you actually *want* to play.

The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $5500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

I believe the same thing. It seems like most so not thrive in an area where they grow up. I grew up in Baltimore so I’ve always been poor and satisfied with what I need not what I want. Now my mom and stepfather are in their 80’s and getting to the point they need help. I moved to Pennsylvania from Maryland and have gone completely broke, I’m 55, in a temporary job and can’t afford my bills so I’m filing bankruptcy. I struggle every day, I’m extremely tired from living in an moldy mobile home and I don’t see a way out. It’s not so easy like people say it is. You need money to move, without it, forget it.

I wish I could change more in my life and have improved what I could. I’m sort of stuck where I live as I take care of my mom and she has good doctors that we don’t want to change.
