How to Get Zoe Kravitz Inspired BOHO BOX BRAIDS | Protective Style

I got boho box braids for summer! Thought I'd show how they turned out for those of you looking to get them done. (Yes, I did redo that crazy stalker braid sticking out lol)
POST-BRAID UPDATE:
I suck for not filming a follow-up video but here's some more info on how it turned out!
They did loosen up a little bit and were only stiff for the first week or so. It ended up looking AMAZING but the only problem was the braids kept coming apart (like they do in the video). A few weeks in I bought rubber bands and started re-braiding and banding them off at the end every time one came down. Eventually I put them on all the braids and after that it was absolutely perfect! Got so many compliments and of course Zoe comparisons. Ended up looking 10x better than it does in the video.
Lasted a full three months with not much knotting during take down! I attempted to try to save the hair by unbraiding but eventually decided to take the L and just cut them out.
If you're thinking of doing this style I would say save up and invest in good human hair for the ends so that it will fall naturally, it seems like that's the most essential part of the look. Good luck ladies!

Braiding hair: Afreezm Pre-Stretched Silky Braid, Afrelle by Kanekalon, about 4 packs (Purchased from beauty supply store)
Human hair: Indian Hair Company, Straight & "Dark Brown" color, about 3 bundles

Human hair lengths: 12"-14", 14"-16"
Braiding hair length: 54"
Final length: 20"-22"
Knots tied off at the ends (eventually put bands on them)

Nice video. The hair would have been free and less stiff if the entire hair was dipped in water. The water could have been warm not scorching hot.
