POZI, JIS, PHILIPS are TOTALLY different in design.... The Laser 6498 bleeder is awesome!!!!! Got loads of them! BTW, have you ever seen the dirt behind the pistons, in the fluid, even after a few months? You'll never get that fluid out, it is below the bleed screw and will settle at the lowest point. Disassemble and clean properly is only way. 11:58 - air was most likely from bleed nipple (especially since you were just pushing fluid, not really "bleeding" air) - quickly remove the niple and put a glob of red rubber grease on the nipple threads before pushing fluid or bleeding air. Makes a difference.

I use a syringe to get rid of most of the fluid in the resevoir first, refill with new fliud, so that you are pumping new fluid from the start. Always bleed the point furthest from the master cylinder first, then next, etc. (He did it correctly, just didn't state it) There can also be a bleed point at the ABS or junction point.

10:32 For brakes I would suggest white wine rather than rosé wine. Above all, no beer, bubbles are bad for braking performance.

Saved me £85 by watching this, I was told "Oh No, you cannot bleed brakes on ABS bikes, you have to use this specialist pump or something, so after changing out LH side brake caliper and 20 mins on this video. BOOOM great brakes again. From one Dave to another, cheers pal.

Nice video ! I did the same to mine too. Next will be the Fork Oil. Brake fluid and fork oil changes tend to be often neglected by motorcycle owners.

Well done at last Dave. Put some copper-slip on master cylinder screws, they have a tendency to rust in. I read somewhere the engine has to be running when bleeding the brakes due to the ABS system.

How far can you pull leaver? I can touch with mine handlebar if I pull it with full force. There is no air in system.
