Guys I LOVE how these turned out. I didn't try them on my TIMBERLAND BOOTS yet. But I do love how they look. If you don't want to chance it with your expensive boots then try them out on these boots first. Would you guys to do these? What color would you do?

Did you allow the paint to dry before applying Mod Podge?

@@jerseytomato100 yes. I put on 2 coats of paint and let it sit for like 15minutes and was completely dry😊

@@jerseytomato100 I used the acrylic paint from walmart. They are like .50 a bottle. You can use any glitter, I like the extra fine glitter but some people use the bigger size glitter. Hope this helps!

I am making these for my daughter and niece however, there's no list of what exactly you used. What kind of paint? Was it acrylic? how much glitter was that? I can't see the oz as I don't want to over buy or under buy. Thank you so much!!

All those supplies can be found at Walmart. Usually on the same isle. The only thing you wont find on that isle is the painters tape but that's usually located in the paint section.

These are ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!!! how did they hold up? Did the sealer do it's thing? Also I've seen these type of boots on Amazon starting at about 30$ how much did this over all project cost? Would it be worth it for me to diy or buy them on Amazon? Also could you use the mod podge to seal or would it cause the glitter to become cloudy? Sorry for a million n one questions lol

I have a little tip. You can use a salt and pepper shaker to get the glitter on there more evenly, other than that, these look great can’t wait to make my daughter a pair

Thank you😁. I did not wear them to much and when I did I didnt run or anything like that in them. So I didnt have any cracking. But I saw someone use like"rubber glue" on the areas that could crack. But I'm not sure how well that would hold up. Hope this helped!

Why paint them if you are covering the paint with glitter? Just curious cause I have seen the modge podge then pour glitter & the mixing the modge podge & glitter & paint with that. But never paint them then modge podge then glitter

Because the color of the boot is tan. So if there is spot with light coverage of glitter, you cant tell because the glitter blends in with the pink paint. Thanks for watching☺

I'm not sure about paint. But I have seen people mix in the glitter with the mod podge glue. I think the look comes out better though by applying the glitter on top of the glue.
