Another helpful, informative video! Would love to hear more about trimming your kite (sheeting in/out, “depower” line +/-) for more speed and better angles upwind/downwind. Always excited to see your next video show up in my feed!

Thank you so much for tuning in! I'm so glad it was helpful. My biggest tip is to always go off of how the kite feels - sheet in to go faster when you're locked in and maybe point a little lower, sheet out when there's a gust coming and try pointing higher.

@Daniela Moroz Great vid! I find it interesting how you say to keep your weight/upper body towards the back of the board. Doesn't that cause the foil to rise up? I naturally thought that you need to keep your weight forward. I have Levitaz aspect 2 wing and find that it wants to rise up as I get going faster. Leaning far forward on the board seems to help with this. Maybe race foils are just different in that regard?

Nice video. I do like your tutorials. By the way there is one thing where you probably will have the most clicks. How to filler and sand your foil and leading edges if whispers. I do know it's a bit of secret in the top league. But you might could share what everyone is doing anyway. There aren't much information out there.

Cheers for the video some great advice. You mention weight of the rider, I am 110kg, can i expect lower upwind and downwind angles? I constantly have this debate with the guys on the beach.

Thanks so much for watching! Yes, in general, bigger "boats" are faster but will be unable to maintain the same angles upwind as smaller boats. Downwind, bigger riders will usually point a bit lower. And both of these results are partially because you are most likely using a bigger kite, however if kite size is the same, then weight is your variable.
