By far the best tack tutorial. No one else has given such details on the timing, which in my optnion is is the most imprtant in the tack.

This is super helpful and the best tacking video on the internet, thank you! I've almost got tacking sorted but really needed these tips and was coming to some of the same conclusions so this was great to see with examples and slo-mo, awesome!

Nice tips! The timing of sending my kite and flattening the board are my most common mistakes. I’m also gonna try to imagine the line through my head and torso down to the wing. 🤙🏼

Thanks for the advice 😁 For another video, could you talk about body position when riding fast up and down wind? And also how to avoid / deal with ventilations?
good tips and I especially appreciate slo-mo overhead drone footage showing kite position throughout the maneuver

Thanks a lot for the great tack tutorial..I m midway learning to jibe ( with ur jibe tutorial ) .I wish to learn how to Tack as well.. is it doable attempting learning both manoeuvres in the same session? Are tack wipeouts less painful than jibe’s?|

Nice one Daniela, what about looking at the front straps while changing your feet, do you look at them or not :) Thanks

Would you train with or without straps? I feel like straps are always in my way. Another thing I noticed is, that you are probably on super short race lines like 12 or 14m, aren't you? So on 22m you need to crank the bar even harder, correct?

Thanks for the video and tips. Do you have any tacking tips on smaller kites. I’m finding it much easier on my 15m and 11m Chrono, struggling with my 7m Chrono. Also what line length is optimum for learning?
@thelifeofdanielaa4 жыл бұрын
Planning to make a video about line lengths! Depends on the kite size but the range is from 12-17 m long lines. For smaller kites it's super key to pay attention to how much power in the kite you have and try to utilize it as best you can.

Nice one, I actually use one hand also for supper light winds, in this case, u can send a kite a way faster rather than kill all power and hang on it with 2 hands ;).
