@@NostalgiaNomics oh bro and I have to tell you man your research is so on point it’s not even funny. Don’t give me wrong like you even showed. It’s not like every single card was a 50 X. But for real not only did you call the craze, but I put your research with my research the plays I am see all over the market are so insane right now and have been for the last few months when you look at it from an X value over a dollar value. I’ve literally seen cards selling from between 4 to 6 dollars near mince lots of listings so there’s a good chance to get 10 that we’re selling in a PSA 10 for over $150. And even bigger plays. Truly, bro, you are given out legit fire alpha on either how to make money at this in a business sense. or have this hobby pay the person back and be able to collect everything that somebody could want all their dream stuff and as long as they leverage the knowledge buy at the right time the right product and are willing to sell when it’s time… but own all of their favorite dream product for free essentially.

A good light and magnifying glass are great cheap tools to inspect the cards. I think they look at 10-20x when grading the cards

Gotta use the centering tool till your eyes dont need it anymore

sportscardspro has a great centering analyzer. Takes a little practice to get the best pictures, but it gives pretty detailed info. It’s not great for cards that have a lot of art overlapping the borders, but it will get you a good ballpark value

Great video. To add on to your point, for PSA submissions make 100% sure that the shipping person you give the package to does not cover the external barcode. I used Fedex once (never again) and the person who scanned my PSA package put the box in a bag so the barcode was covered. I didn't think about it at the time but PSA contacted me and said the package was covered so went to their non labeled pile. Caused a huge delay.

Just put the ones with scratches at the very end of a long sub. 😂 They also seem to judge centering more harshly at the end from my experience. Recency bias and grader fatigue are real things you can use to your advantage here.

First time subs are the best learning experience. Really lets you see what you may or may not have seen. But it’s always possible they misgraded a card as well. I had a near perfect card come back as an 8…resubbed it and got a 10 🤷‍♂️

The $149 Psa membership is steep not gonna lie. I recently stopped using cgc and currently looking at Psa or Beckett as Beckett has really improved all-round. He is right also the Psa magazines do sell well and will definitely help to offset the membership. In the end when I’m ready to submissions off I’ll do both grading companies. I really love CGC slabs but as of late they are really scummy and I can’t defend them anymore

I only pay $100 a year for my psa membership and i get the mags too... I don't remember picking what kind of magazine I wanted either. They just send them. Lol
