Fucking PREACH. All of gen 5 sets were absolutely trash, gen 5 is the most beloved in community and the TCG side of Pokemon did that generation so dirty. Sun and moon and sword and shield both were heavy hitters and very well received overall. Scarlet and violet seem to be mediocre leaning more towards the positive side of well received but it can definitely do better. Here’s to hoping gen 10 is an absolute smash hit.

I'm really happy about being able to get the Bulba and Squirtle to go with the promo Charmander. This set is going to be money because of them, and I honestly am 50/50 with the Terapagos. I see it turning out like the Pikachu Secret from Crown Zenith. I agree on the ETB Promo as well. Good video brother.

Id take this as a reason to go and buy as many tera cards as possible because if this set pops off, people will undoubtedly go back and look for all the tera cards in the previous sets, its the same thing every time, we all hate the new sets and go back to old and it will most likely be the same thing. But thats just my personal opinion right now.

It's a shame Pokémon doesn't print 2 completely different (as in Pokémon characters)not just a stamp as we have now,promo cards in each Pokémon centre etb! Agree with you on these promos, they are not as eye catching or as colourful as those you covered earlier in this video.

Appreciate your take on this set. You convinced me to place an order on a PC ETB to keep sealed. Im not sure if the terapogos will compare to Greninja from TM, but it is somewhat of a new type of card with the rainbow borders which is cool and interesting. I think were going to see more new rarity types once Legends ZA comes out and mega evolutions come back.

The rainbow boards might make it harder to grade these cards at PSA10 level. Which, in turn, would make any graded PSA10's very valuable.

There are some playable cards in this set that I need to add to my decks. I am with you right now the top two chases are the squirtle and bulbasaur IR. I really want to see if they do Cinderace and Lapras justice by making them into SIRs.

I do not think that this terapagos will be even close to greninja. Greninja is more known pokemon overall. Those other cards will be like eevee and alakazam in 151, not the best cards by price, but wery sought after because of the art. I think I will skip this set and save money for team rocket set. But lets see what happens. I will go back to this comment to see if my opinion changed as well 😅.

Open 20 -30%. Buy singles to complete set. Opening is great , but it's a gamble if you want specific cards and you may spend more over the long term then buying a single card

So far what I've seen of the set doesn't have me too hyped aside from the gen 1 IRs. I didn't know there's more SIRs to be announced so hopefully we can get some really cool Lapras and Cinderace designs but right now I'm not very excited for this set. Especially with the potential dragon, tera eevees, and team rocket sets coming soon after, this unfortunately might not be as popular as those. But from an investment point of view, the sealed product of this could do well just by the fact that in the present I don't expect it to get popular enough to warrant reprints.

The galavantula/lapras/cinderace inclusion is so random. I wish they would have picked some different Pokémon. But the stellar terra effect looks great in every rarity. Hydrapple is my chase though.

Definitely a pass set, to many colors, card style is way to busy, overall just screams “ I’m a filler expansion set “ will probably sell decently overall but as far as chasers go idk ,terapagos is still mix received in the community. This will probably end up being like chilling reign, a cool set that largely keeps its MSRP but is carried by a 2 or 3 cards.

Seems Pokémon are somewhat aware that Terestal cards haven't been that well received to date, the new Stellar Type Rainbow effect looks brilliant! I always thought Rainbow Rare's were really under appreciated tbh. The Squirtle AR/IR looks great, Terapagos looks amazing, I think Stellar will do well, high chance it's the best selling DLC based set we've seen yet!?

This set is trash. Be honest and genuine. Most sets are garbage over printed pieces of paper. People are leaving Pokemon. A great triple A game and good art on cards that aren’t over printed will be the next good set. But who knows when that will happen. Lorcana starting gain traction and with the new dbz coming i see dragon ball fusion doin better

Bro pokemon fans aren't buying Lorcana or DBZ cards, we're buying Pokemon cards because we like Pokemon lol. If they're too expensive for you then cut back or save up money elsewhere. If you don't like the art, that's your opinion so just don't buy it. People come and go routinely, Pokemon TCG isn't going anywhere. I've been collecting on and off since 1999. 27+ years in the market and they're still going strong.
