How To Graffiti in HO Scale

In this exciting video of How To Graffiti in HO Scale - I'll be going over how I do graffiti on my layout. HO scale is probably as small as I'd want to go as far as hand drawn graffiti. Great video. Graffiti is part of a modern layout whether you like it or not you need it. And you're right. Takes practice and lots of it. That's why I never through away those really cheap rolling stock cars. I really do like the color of the concrete. You nailed that for sure!

Hand drawn is always cleaner...great install...I have used the decal transfers on my fencing as its quick and was not going to be a feature scene...they do need dullcoat and can be problematic on rough profile panels like ribbed hoppers or grills and siding...they are quite small...mostly... but if you stand next to a railcar...its understandable.😁 Cheers for chatting about it.✌

Is there styles that are more common to different regions like West Coast vs East Coast? Is there styles that would have been common in the 80s or 90s that have fallen out of favor, and you just don’t see anymore? Is there a good way to do scale chalk “hobo” monikers? When I worked as a switchman, you could really get a in-depth view of all the layer upon layer of tags. It’s really rare to find a car that didn’t have something. To me is an absolute necessity to have something on every car to model a modern prototype.

you should show your reference material. that STYLE piece is pretty nice, but you just copied it. you should let your viewers know that its important to use reference photos to get accurate models
