You are right. I am going to my husbands home this Christmas and I want to learn basic Igbo by then and this guy is great but ONLY FOR intermediate to advanced speakers. This lesson is NOT for new speakers or beginners at all.

Actually Naijagurl089, he is not. This is the proper way and why wouldn't you wan to say it this way, it shows that you can REALLY speak igbo! thanks whoever uploaed this video for helping us learn igbo! :) i really appreciate it .

You need to translate from english to igbo for better understanding to the people you are teaching if not they are or would be lost...... Making no impact.

@sumring12 Everything he said I understood it so I can really speak Igbo. Even I that speaks igbo fluently thinks he made it too hard for beginners. You need baby steps before graduating to longer harder words.

LOL what? I can't even dream of saying kedu to my elders though! But I agree some of the stuff was for advanced speakers, but it's a good starting point for those extremely familiar with the language but can't speak it as fluently as they would like

What a great KZbin channel! I’m Joshua, a New Jersey rapper who wants to inspire the world with hope and love. Also, I want to change my name from Jewish to an African name meaning gratitude. Is Ekele, the Igbo word for gratitude? What is Igbo or another African name for the word gratitude? Thanks much! Love!

OMG he's making it hard. Just say kedu which means how are you? Simple as that. The way he's talking is basically a very long way of greeting different types of people.
