For anyone curious, it’s exactly 600 mission score at 15 minute intervals starting from when you spawn in. If you died you are paid out based on how much of 600 score you got, and how much of the 15 minutes you survived. So, if you got 600 score then died 7.5 minutes after you spawned in you would get half the maximum reward. After you have gotten your useful action reward you can get an additional bonus if you manage to land without dying. If you do died the useful action timer will start again from when you spawn in on the runway.

I played two games and got 47kills and died 18 times yet I got in the first full game only 20k rp and in the second one I only got 10k rp and in sl I didnt get much what am I doing wrong?

@@MISTHEPR They changed the RP-Modifiers a few days/up to two weeks ago iirc, check the change logs - should be in there :)

@MISTHEPR In Sim battles you get rewarded for useful actions every 15 minutes, so it really all depends on when you got those kills, what rank you are playing, if you are using boosters, and if you have premium or not. If you are getting more then 600-800 points every 15 minutes in sim battles you are practically "wasting time". ItzCPU the user that made this comment explained it pretty well.

I know all the useful actions stuff but are you 1000% sure it’s 600 score? I’m planning to grind sim more nations with sim and this is incredibly helpful if true I know the rule of thumb that 1 kill is around full reward which does match what you’re saying I suppose

you should always use damping mode on Su-27s, using no damping mode is the same as having the cobra button permanently active@@mich421

Honestly, simulator battles are 100% worth the time you invest in them. Personally, now, i save all my boosters to pop for a sim game. I played an entire sim game yesterday using a stock B-24, stock F-7F and AM-1 with a 200% booster, i am by no means a top dog fighter, but just from that one game i spaded all 3 planes, unlocked both of the last Mustangs and had the F3 jet 80% researched.

Fax, Sim Battles is the best way I would say if you have patients, Just keep in mind that the boosters only count for 30 minutes of the sim game, You dont have to play the full sim game if you dont want to.

@PepyCola_ they do? I thought the booster boosted the entire game, but I noticed in their info it said "every 30 minutes spent in a game will count as another match" so that means the booster only applies to the first 30 minutes?

I highly recommend for new sim players to make a custom battle with a password and only setting 4 bots in it and learn your plane lineup and how to ID bomb targets and how to id friendlies and enemys (key tip: ai boats and AA will shoot at enemies so watch the tracers)

target id is quite easy if you figure it out, just look at the map and cross-reference landmarks like cities and bodies of water and shorelines to what you can see out of the plane, if you have defensive gunners swich to that view for better situational awareness

The constant in & out, in & out, in & out of RB bothers me so much. Really wish they brought EC to RB as well, I love it in sim but I don't *always* feel like using my HOTAS & VR.

RB ec will forever be a dream of mine, it’d truly be so fun. Maybe take out the name tags or make them shirt distance because I feel like you’d just have all fighters chasing the one bomber who got spotted 50km away

@@TrentMcShallthey could have spotting work almost the same but have the magical data link you get from when teammates spot someone have a max range of like 50km (or probably less)

The number one tip I could give for sim prop fighter players is don’t even bother going for bombers unless you have a cannon that’s gonna shred it in half in 2 seconds, bombers turrets are so insanely good in sim mode that you’ll just get one tapped 99% of the time unless you get ridiculously good bullet placement from one of there blind spots when making your run

The reason why is because gunner view in sim mode allows for 3rd person view same as in AB/RB. They are also used as AWACS popping off air alert's everywhere.

I'm looking to getting into sim, because the grind just seem so much easier in that battle, especially with the current IRIAF f14 going on, im pretty good on rb, but I don't want to get competitive, I mostly just want to focus on bombing with sim, should I get a joy stick or controller ? or would keyboard and mouse be just fine?

Keyboard and mouse works just fine, Joy sticks are cool as long as you are up for the learning curve

In my experience an xbox controller works very well. You may have to set up a different control scheme for bomber vs fighter; but I have found that with an xbox controller I can control my view sufficiently to keep awareness while also controlling my movement (using the right and left stick respectively) - with the level of control that you would get from a joystick with the added benefit you have two joysticks (one of which, like I said, I use for looking around). I know I'm 2 months late to replying so I'm sure you've already figured something out but if you're playing on mouse and just can't get comfortable I would absolutely recommend getting a cheap gamepad or xbox controller.

You might find useful head tracking device, if you don't want to spend money you'll need AI track and open track. Free programs that you'll find on github+Webcam. SIM battle experience willa be much better

The economy is pure scuffed. I played a game last week where it latsed for juts over 2 and half hours, 2 deaths 11 kills, bumch of bombs dropped and objectives taken. Earned 7000sl. Wtaf

@@sgk8557in simulation you do have acces to the map. If it's not working for you try checking keybinds or maybe it's another issue. I always use the map to navigate to objectives.

I think default is the "T" key to talk or enter to chat and it's easier with a sight but try to look on roads!!! Roads lead somwhere and you can use that lead to aim.

I can comprehend with the aircraft control in sim with the trimming stuff so I only plays tank. Can you make a video help about trimming? I can't find a video talks about it

It all depends on what you are using for sim, a yoke or mouse, but the main thing with both of them are that they are very very sensitive so any movement you do needs to be SMALL and I think that’s what a lot of people have a problem with when switching from real to sim, I will definitely put that idea in my vault for a up coming video

I'm going to describe it with using mouse joystick controls. There are two methods to setting trim but most use the quick set option. When using full real controls pushing T will set your trim to the position of your "joystick" which will basically make that the new center of the screen. How I recommend using it is to put your mouse cursor on the screen where the pane is steadily doing what you want then pushing t and quickly moving your mouse back to the center (as it doesn't auto reset)

if you fly modern enough jets in simulator, some are really snappy and uncontrollable. theres a button toggle you can set in the settings called Stability augmentation system (SAS). might be under advanced heli controls but it works on modern jets too. If you toggle SAS to damping, it makes smaller movements less drastic

Bro sim battles are excellent but those teamates that don't want to ping are very annoying ,i always ping when i see aircraft 2-3 times before i launch my missile and my teamates always gets angry when they eat my r60mk bro they didn't even ping

What are you talking about? Sim has extremly bad SL/h if you play without premium. You will even go out negative if you don't know what you are doing, because spawn costs are so dumb high. Play sim for fun, not for the grind.

@@woistwalter7037 key word if you don’t know what you are doing, of course you are going to go negative if you don’t know what you are doing, you will in any games mode, SIM has the best payout if you are effective and that’s the point, weather people like the mode or not it’s the best for SL and RP, and even if you don’t have premium it’s better to play sim and understand it then play realistic without premium and get pooped on, now of course if you can be effective in realistic you’ll equal to about the same SL and RP but Sim will always equal out more if it’s played correctly

Are you kidding? I started playing SB about 3 days ago, I average more take off than landings and more flatspins than player/IA kills, yet I've never ended up losing SL even without premium

@@giuh_ I'm in the same boat. Started playing about 3-4 days ago but I have definitely gone negative in a few games. This was mostly because I was impatient, didn't hit objectives and gain the useful action modifier, and generally because I was playing in lobbies with players much better than myself. If I didn't know enough about aerial manouevres and have general awareness of what to do in certain situations - I definitely would have lost more. That being said the last few games I have earned well over 60,000 SL while losing (at most) 25-30,000 per game with an average of about 30-40,000 SL profit; and I'm not even particularly good at the game, and I'm only playing fighters 99% of the time so far whereas I imagine with bombers it would be much easier to stack useful actions.

@@giuh_ For the flat spinning, I highly recommend taking your aircraft into test flight first with full real controls. You can only push an aircraft, especially props, so far before they fight you back.

@PepyCola_ did you forget in the entire point of your video? it was introducing new people to sim so yes they are going to be in.the negatives considering how hard it is to pick up. As someone who literally only plays simulator battles the reward system is absolutely garbage, you might think its good because on paper it seems like you get a lot but your useful actions are limited to 600 points, so you can haveba really good game in a short amount of time and be rewarded the exact same every 15 minutes than let's say if you do really well in Air RB and you'll get so much more reward for it, simulator reward system objectively sucks

I see so many people using Joystick instead of Relative. just don't please. use WASD when You need to make hard turns, use Relative controls with the Mouse to get better and more accurate shots off. it is a little tiring to see someone desperately trying to control their aircraft while wildly flinging around the joystick, it's an unnecessary headache Sim overall for Me has been a much better experience than RB, much less frustrating and teams actually work together.

Depends on how skilled you are in Realistic, If you casually drop 5+ kills in realistic itle prob equal out to the same amount you would get compared to as if you played sim

That was the F-5, which yes its a premium, but even using non-premium in simulator battles can still be a significant boost compared to realistic battles, depending on your skill level

@ my skill level in sim? New subject please… I’ve always been amazed at how chill sim can be. compared to the chaos that I do admittedly love about top tier, but it gets tiring Just wanted to manage my expectations as I’d probably be using premium aircraft to fly trough the next tech trees (pun intended) as I’m well on my way into my third nation now I am getting a VKB gladiator so thought I might as well try getting into sim as it would be the perfect time (the stick isn’t for war thunder primarily. but when in Rome do as the Roman’s am I right)

Do you guys stutter when playing air sim? I have rtx 3060 12gb with i-5 12400f graphic set to medium with adaptive vsync on,, stutter but fps is high.. idk guys is it because of G-Sync or what?

You definitely shouldnt be seeing any lag with that setup, at least alot of it, If it shows High FPS but its still stuttering, Sounds like it may be a monitor issue, Have you tried playing it on a new Monitor? Or even a new HDMI/Display Cord?

There is no easy way, Since its Sim you just have to know who you are facing and know how to tell what plane is what. After playing for a bit youll start to understand more, There will be team kills in Sim, not much you can do about it. However i do know that there is some people that will spam their location so that you at least know that the person in that area is most likely a teammate

Bind the "follow me!" voice line to an easy button and press it any time you're unsure about a plane or if someone else uses the voice line. This will show your or other teammates locations on the map helping you and teammates id each other. If you use this and a plane doesn't respond you kill them, don't feel bad if it ends up being a team kill, its their fault for not paying attention.

in top tier you use radar , if you dont have a radar u can see their marker if u get close to them. other than that you have to eye ball it or talk to them in chat/drop your loaction ( on me ) wiill drop a marker on your position in the map which can be seen by your teamates

with planes that have IFF on radarsets, it's pretty easy, just point it at Your teammates in SRC mode or TWS if You have it. TKs get much less common from 10.7 and above btw

Control the plane with keyboard, use mouse for view. Make sure to set all sensitivites (roll, yaw, pitch) to 0% and bind the control 'Toggle SAS Mode'. When in plane, set SAS mode to 'Damping'. That made the mode more than decently playable and enjoyable for me.
