Hey Coach Jason, it's been a while and I hope you're doing well. My son just finished his first season of pony league and is doing well on the mound. For now, he only throws fastballs and a changeup. But he's about to turn 14 and I think it's time for him to learn a new pitch. I know there are a bunch of different ones out there but was wondering what you would recommend he add first. Awesome buddy. Glad the season is going well and thanks for reaching out. I would learn a sinker and curve that matches his arm slot. Let me know how it goes. The sinker will be a game changer for him and is less stressful because you throw it just like a fastball.

4:45 respectfully youre throwing it wrong, the 1st grip is good but your follow through the ball approach is wrong. ive taught my son how to throw it 2yrs ago he's 13 now. he hasnt thrown it in a game but ive seen that thing buckle his teammates in live ab's with 30+ inches of run.

@@Rally_Crashes not like that. unless you want those results. search pitching ninja and look for the sweeper on his page. then theres a video of ohtani and darvish talking to eachother in the dugout about how to throw it. or ask yourself why a change up moves the way it does. then recreate that concept, reversed to get mirrored results.!.

Renaming pitches is not new pitches A sweeper is nothing but a slurve a pitch thrown for much of the 60s & 70s era
