I totally agree with you, Emerald! I came to realise this infinite richness of everything only after giving up to label all my current experiences with my previous concepts, constructed after my latest enlightenment realisation. Life became lighter and brighter in so many levels after that! Thank you for sharing it!

Yet another video of yours that has helped me on my path. You have a very clear way of explaining things. I've never heard anyone encapsulate a description of what a thought is, so well. It reminded me how connected we all are, in that everyone's conditioned reality is as abstract as each others.

Without ever realising whats hapening i have found myself in life a couple of times being able in my mind to disconect the meaning from the words willingly in real time and hearing them how absolutely weird they sound in the language of Lithuanian.Verry happy to see this put in to perspective ty =]

I've been watching a lot of your videos since I found your channel, and this one in particular resonated with me. I've experienced and contemplated a lot of this stuff myself, and you really connected a lot of dots here to create further insights that I hadn't considered before. What you said about language is so true - hearing it as a non-native speaker you experience it in its raw, firsthand reality; when we start learning the language and hearing it for its meaning, we attach ourselves to what I call the 'Second Reality' - this is the invented interpretations, the labeling, and we train ourselves to *think* of this new manufactured reality as the true reality. Not only are the raw phonetic sounds bypassed, but also the world around us as it truly exists begins to dissipate in our awareness if we are not conscious of how we are skipping over actuality. We are placing the raw experience of reality on conveyor belts in our minds as part of as assembly line to create our (mostly) linguistic-based conceptual structures of reality, which is how most of us understand the world because of the efficiency and security of that mode of perception. There's nothing inherently wrong with this process, but if we are unconscious of it then we lose so much of the glory and beauty of pure connection to life itself. I really appreciate how you've connected this to grounding oneself in subjective experience as a spiritual process, and I hadn't considered the practices you suggested about training yourself to isolate sounds in the auditory field or learning how to paint/draw in order to appreciate this more. Those are some fantastic connections and I will start doing them. 😁🙏

I'm glad that this one resonated with you. One of the most profound experiences in my life was when a huge insight into reality came up as I was learning how to draw and paint realistically when I was in high school art class. But it was really more about learning how to see without the interference of the symbolic mind. Once I could actually see the world for how it was, I could paint realistically very easily. And it most shocking to me that in my previous 15 years of life I had NEVER seen a single thing. I might as well have blind. I only ever saw my thoughts about what I was seeing. I never saw the thing itself until I really looked.

Funny. I was deconstructing songs on my way home yesterday. These are songs i've listened to for decades, and yet I was able to uncover things i'd never really noticed before, never really "heard" in all those years. Brought fresh ears to songs recorded before I was born.

When I had my ego-transcendence experiences, I realized that I had been living in heaven but simply was not aware enough to really see it. I recognized that reality was the spiritual plane.
@SycodelicMaleVEVO8 жыл бұрын
The Diamond Net When I had experienced passing to me that was heaven. Yet, to me it wasn't a place within our understanding because I really didn't go that far. I was sucked in like a vacuum and that was when I was a kid before I even read about such experiences. There's also the dead in the midst of us and part of our own reality that some can't comprehend. I think Heaven is just as close as going to another country or even closer but we are too caught up and have to be trained to see it, to some of us it comes naturally.

The best way for me to ground in reality is to focus on my body sensations in terms of an instinctual awareness of myself. When I tune into my body; my breath, my feet on the ground, the tension or relaxation I feel in different parts of me, the ways I want to move my body; I immediately get out of my thoughts and interpretations because I'm simply focusing on the instinctual sensations which operate outside of thought. I think you mentioned this in your trauma video as well.

Why does life resemble a maze in which you need to find the exit? Why does it look like a quiz to solve? Why did I choose to be guided by senses that actually do not reflect reality? What does life look like a challenge? Is it me proving myself? Did God put me in a cage to see how I manage out?

I have always had psychics tell me that they can't read me because I am not grounded. I will watch this to see if they are just using an excuse or maybe they are right?
@SycodelicMaleVEVO8 жыл бұрын
Michael Jacobs My statement wasn't meant to attack psychics or to be a slant against them in any way, I was simply relating my experience.
@TheDiamondNet8 жыл бұрын
That's interesting. I never heard anything of that nature about psychics, so maybe they were using it as an excuse. But i"m not too familiar, so I'm not sure.
@SycodelicMaleVEVO8 жыл бұрын
Michael Jacobs Sometimes reality means that like a Dr. when they don't have answers they blame their patients. That's reality too. I don't really quite know how to interpret what you are really intending to say. Maybe I don't do well at articulating and communicating due to issues outside of my control because of an illness or disability, which would give me still adequate reason to question if it's them or me, so that I can understand what is taking place, To assume that it is me that is the weak link still doesn't change my situation. I agree that you could have a point though.
@SycodelicMaleVEVO8 жыл бұрын
Michael Jacobs I didn't have to visit them they are all over my social networks too. I never went out looking for any.
@SycodelicMaleVEVO8 жыл бұрын
What I would want to see them for is the same problem I want to see counselors for all these years, that's my biggest problem and that is communication with others. I already mentioned that issue above. I don't want to go over it again. Most people miss it when I mention all that even though it's all there. You can't give me easy answers for that on here I doubt since I am 47 and still have these issues that don't make sense enough to me for me to just decide to change and do it. So, it's a complicated question to me that I already spoke of in the above.

Buddhism and enlightenment does not allow you to master your ego but to quell and subjugate it so that you become passive. This 'enlightenment' is a celebration of mediocrity. True mastery of one's ego involves much introspection, courage in the face of herd morality (overcoming the fear of what other's think of you), and constructive action towards cultivating civilisation (not activism, which is destructive by its very nature). People who are slave to their (herd) ego purport themselves as "empaths" but in reality are just serving their own ego and when someone comes along with a differing ideology (eg conservatism) the egoistical empaths all band together to tear down that person/institution. This is post-modernism in a nutshell. Paradoxically, the "empath" ideology is to denounce ego as "evil".

excuse me miss can you tell me your opinion on teal swan

I have mixed feelings about her. On one hand, if I had not found her work at the time that I had found it, I don't think I would have been able to deal with the challenges that life was throwing in my way. So, there's plenty of legitimate and very helpful advice in her videos. She really is superbly talented at describing the human condition. On the other hand, always exercise critical thinking when listening to her. There have been a few things that she's said that I thought would be destructive if someone in a low place took her advice. So, remember, to only take what truly resonates with you. Also, I know there are a lot of rumors about her being a cult leader and other things like that. I would keep that in mind as to not get into a position where that would even become relevant to you in any way. But I would also keep in mind that those rumors (whether true or false) shouldn't determine whether or not one of her teachings is relevant to you. You can truly learn anything from anyone.

You should watch her video on Teal Swan if you haven't. She does well at stating her thoughts there. On a personal level I love Teal Swan like a Sister and would defend her on certain things but much of the criticism that she receives is because of her inability to deal with her skeptics without belittling them and thinking less of them. She can make the irrational sound rational to some. She sent me an invite in google plus the other day, so I"m trying to use my words to fit the right places as she may see them now.

New Beginnings no i havent. can you link me or tell me the title of that video? i understand .. we don't have to have perfect opinion on anybody regardless if they are spiritual teachers or not and you can still value some of their teachings no matter the rest of their life.
