from London Brixton uk. it is nice to see darkskin girl, celebrating her 4c hair goal. i have natural 3b/3c 24 inch hair. i am fed up of people asking if it is my hair..( i am darkskin, ) they tell me, i must have indian in me! or they feel my hair, and are shocked when they feel the hair is attached to my scalp! Protect your ends, it is the oldest part of you hair end.keep it moist! lots of water, castor oil & hair grease to seal oil.
@Cankari_u-g3 жыл бұрын
you said it sis! yeah, people think that when a beautiful queen like yourself has long hair, then she must be mixed with something. Funny story: I had an aunty who had really long 4c hair. When she tells people that she has long hair she also says that there is Indian in her linage. Statically speaking, it is impossible for there to be Indian in her linage. But thinking back to her story, I see that many people of African decent try to attribute long hair to something other than being fully of African decent.

This may take you a couple of weeks, use a sulphate shampoo whenever you wash your hair for a month or two, you can switch this up with apple cider vineger. Yes Joico is the truth. I use both the shampoo and conditioner. Love it. I found that my conditioner needs to have silicone in it. I have used many different conditioners without silicones, all the natural popular ones like mielle, shea moisture and all that but came back to joico. With oils I use pumpkin oil which is also great for reducing shedding. My hair is about 26 inches and I swear by washing and conditioning at least once a week. Because I use butters and oils I'm fine with using a sulfate shampoo that is a moisturing one plus conditioning and moisturising negates any drying effect from a sulphate shampoo. Great video thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing hair tips. I have never heard of pumpkin oil. Where do you get it from?
@schsas77433 жыл бұрын
@@Cankari_u-g Hi I'm in the UK so I buy it from Amazon or a healthfood store. Any brand really as long as its pure pumpkin seed oil. The oil should either look like very dark green or reddish brown. It's a carrier oil so you do not have to dilute it as if it was an essential oil. I use it for scalp massages, hot oil treatment or add a spoonful to my deep conditioner or just as a sealent over my leave in before my butter/cream. Very versatile and truly helps with shedding. Some people eat a spoonful a day. I have also used as part of a salad dressing very delicious oil.

Te hair does feel a little dry in between when finished. Also I am seeing alot of single strand knots. Any suggestions welcomed
@Cankari_u-g3 жыл бұрын
Hi Nathalie, I am doing well. From my research, Oats have protein. From what you wrote, I believe that you are using a bunch of protein/strengthen products on your hair. That maybe a cause of the knots that you are seeing. How long have u been doing the treatments and products that you mentioned above?
@igbaniliz28783 жыл бұрын
You're using way too much protein. You should do a protein wash once in 6 weeks minimum. For some people it's once in 12 weeks. Get a moisturizing deep conditioner for the weeks you're not using the protein products. Since you already have single strands knots you will need to trim them all off and continue your journey otherwise they will impede growth. All the best.
@cathyfreeman86082 жыл бұрын
I had a big problem with the single strand knots when I first went natural. Two things I learned to resolve that. When you apply shampoo and conditioner, take time to detangle, comb through your strands. Clip the dead ends as needed. Some hairstyles will contribute to the knots as well. Whenever I tried the wash and go, I would have problem with the knots. I may revisit that style at some point. I know I have to be careful to properly detangle from ends all the way to root. Hope this helps.

Hey love you have a beautiful accent but I'm having a hard time understanding what type of conditioner you're saying. In your next video can you show that conditioner or spell it out?

You are lucky girrrrrrl! As for me I am discouraged every day because of my type of hair. I have forgotten about hair growth and focus on my God given and blessed life. Adanne I still don't agree with you that you have fine hair. I think you have thin strands but not fine hair. Thin strand and fine hair is not the same. I have very thin strands coarse hair but not fine hair.

Thanks love ❤️. What is your hair type? Thin strands and done hair are the same to me. What is the difference between thin strands and fine hair?

@@Cankari_u-g i must say that if every youtuber has my kind of hair, they would have been discouraged by now. Let me try to describe my hair : it's chronic dry, drinks water like hole and expell water like sponge. It's too tightly coiled such that my hair hates combing it. If I fail not to comb it just one week, it will automatically turn to deadlock I mean dada. Hahahahaaaaaa! Wait Adanne I have not finished. My hair is so humble that it obeys the law of gravity because of those too tight coils. I mean nothing makes my hair straight except relaxer. Retaining length is a major problem because the ends pulls out at will. Adanne I am feeling sleepy because the winter cold has started blowing but I will try to pour my heart out. Apart from the Fact that my hair looks very healthy, nothing else gives me joy handling it. I don't think that anybody have my kind of hair and I am not wishing anyone to. Fine hair looks like aji puusu. Hahahahaaaaaa! I mean like pussy cat hair when wet but my hair is coarse when felt but the individual strands is very thin. Your hair strands looks thin but not fine. Goodnight and I am happy to pour out my rant. Once more you are so blessed to have such a beautiful head of hair.
