One tip I have for moisten your peat moss or coconut core is to add 9 gallons of water for 11 gallons of peat moss. I’ve started “panic planting” my favorite plants from them, so I can refresh my seed stock so I don’t lose them forever. Do you use any companion planting or do you concentrate one crop per area? I'd love to get some tips on how to control critters and bad bugs effectively. Thanks!
@ScottHead4 жыл бұрын
I actually have few pests,but I did have spider mites last year and did a video on Neem oil. I also have snails and slugs ad use iron phosphate granules to reduce their numbers. Other pests though I have not had the opportunity yet to battle much. If I get some pests, I'll do videos on controlling them. I anticipate vine borers in my squash since I have so much of it this year, but the bugs generally are kept in check by simply letting nature take care of them (wasps hut caterpillars, ladybugs, assassin bugs, etc.) I do intercrop a lot to confuse pests, and did speak of that in a video recently but I can't remember which. I try to plant many kinds of things in one space. Let me think about this request and see what I can do. Thanks for commenting, I do appreciate it. .
