Cyclamen persicum is sometimes called the Florists Cyclamen, however the species itself is well worth a place in containers outdoors as well as in the garden depending on climate.
Colourful flowers, beautiful foliage and fragrant flowers and you can grow this plant outdoors as well as indoors.
This is a long lived plants, they will flower reliably year after year and are suited to growing in terracotta pots and easy care in mild to cool climates, however it is frost tender.

Nice vid! I have now two C persicum in flower that I grew from seed. I didn't expect the flowers to be so tiny. How did they hybridize them to get such huge flowers compared to those of the species?

Viewer from Victoria Australia..purchased mine winter 15mths ago. Mine have not stopped flowering. Did not go dormant.. just kept flowering. They are on Nth facing Veranda..in shade and watered when they are dry with week solution of Season.

In the right conditions they are wonderful and you must have it right. Watering when dry is the key, a wet/dry cycle is good for many plants.

Are they generally frost hardy? A couple of mine really took a hit last winter and lost all leaves and flowers. I'm wondering if they'll regrow

Try to keep them out of frost, they don't cope well with frost at all. If they in the ground and get frosts, grow them in pots and put them in. a frost free position.
